About this project
STORYLINE
In a universe where consoles are re-imagined as planets, while games are re-imagined as sectors, the events in the sector known as Olympus changed the world of Playstanea forever.
Kratos had slaughtered all the Gods of Olympus.
Before, sectors never interacted with each other. They developed independently without need for trade or travel. But now, they were forced to unite for survival, as the Gods of Olympus controlled the very elements that governed the entire world.
Confined to a singular building within an apocalyptic planet, the survivors of Playstanea learned that they could travel to another world and claim the land for refuge. They chose the world of Exbor.
Overwhelmed by the heroes of Playstanea's unbelievable strength, sectors of Exbor were forced to unite to protect their world.

RELEASE INFORMATION
Console Wars will be released as a non-profit 7 part fan-series on YouTube only, while paying full respect to the original creators of the characters featured. No downloads or DVDs will be available but backers will be able to watch the video live at any time free of charge.
FUTURE OF THE PROJECT
We will hope to be able to continue with a Season 2 if given approval after success of the first season, so believe us when we say we are working our hardest on this!
MY EXPERIENCE
I may have been making videos for a few years, but these were projects where I did most, if not all of the work, by myself. Being the cameraman, actors, editor and VFX artist all at once means I can't produce high quality work, but this time I have a team!
Our crew is made up of experienced members of the film industry who excel at their craft. They have allowed me to bring this film to life in ways I never envisioned!
WHY SUCH A LOW BUDGET?
I have carefully crafted the storyline and script to allow us to shoot on a minimal budget while still retaining a great amount of action!
However, this budget comes with severe setbacks. I am ill equipped to take care of my cast and crew while filming in the middle of winter. In addition, as per the typical nature of movie productions, we are unintentionally exceeding my personal budget. Crowd funding would really help all of us be more comfortable on set, allowing us to focus harder on our project!
If we manage to exceed our budget, we can use the excess money to increase the quality of our production, such as renting superior filming locations or stunt crews to make truly epic action shots!
CURRENT PROGRESS
We have shot our very first scene, and filming is currently behind schedule. However, we are powering through and have plenty to show our backers. Funding would definitely go a long way in getting us more film dates!

Risks and challenges
The biggest issue we are facing with filming involves securing filming locations.
Ideal sites are usually owned by councils that do not respond often to requests for film. Professional filming location companies, in addition, charge much more than we can afford. Having a flexible budget will at least allow us to go with the expensive option, which is better than no option at all.
The next challenge has been getting the resources to take care of my cast and crew. In addition to not being able to provide enough food, water and warmth, I have no personal assistant and have to do many errands by myself at the same time as directing the film. This is making film days take much longer with reduced progress.
Once again, having a flexible budget will allow me to hire people to do these things for me, allowing me to focus my resources on producing a quality film.
