Let's say that the things those guys on TRP sub spout actually do work on women and help you getting laid/relationships, would you still oppose it? Why is that and how would you convince someone from not following it, if he had success with it?

I think the vast majority of people here oppose it because they see it as immoral. They laugh at it as well, because they thinks it's ridiculous, but their main issue with it is that it's selfish and abusive.

To get someone away from it I would probably try to oppose their more factual claims about how the world works, then ask them if they still see it as ethical.

If unpopular or not good looking guys could get with someone by following their bullshit, I dont think they would care that much about ethical issues. As long as its not sexual harrassment or otherwise criminal.

Unpopular and not good looking guys get with women every day without TRP.

What is unique to TRP is manipulative and abuse, sometimes sexual harassment and criminal to boot. They regularly advocate pushing past a woman's boundaries to get "sex".

What works in TRP isn't unique to TRP. Things like develop hobbies, get in shape, and be more confident are not unique to TRP.

Thats true, focussing on how backwards and unnecessary their ideology is should be the best way to make them look like idiots. This sub already does that in a funny way. But many of these guys also feel a strong resentment against women which makes it hard to convince them. I got banned from mgtow and incels(disturbing place) by just bringing that up.

I have a whole post bouncing around in my head based on The Power of Myth, and how TRP is an example of a modern myth. But it is waayyy too serious for TBP and I refuse to post in PPD.
