This is not my work at all.

This was submitted by someone else on r/Fallout before me.

I'm simply spreading an important sentiment.

This dude's passionate.

It's long so take it in sections.

EDIT: He really hits it home in the last chapter. You can easily skip around in the descriptions with the links /u/MisterCaption provided. Good work dude.

Holy crap. 3 hours?

Gonna have to wait and see whether it is worth it to watch

I wouldn't have linked a 3 hour long video if it weren't worth the watch. It took me the course of the entire day yesterday to finish it. It's incredibly good.

I watched a half hour, made breakfast and did things for a while.

Sat down before a like for work watched another half hour, promptly went to work.

Started back up after work, and I eventually finished it by playing it during commercial breaks during the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

don't sit there for 3 straight hours.

It isn't worth it, it's just some nerd whining about nothing for 3 hours.

I'm exactly one hour in

I'll upvote it. I'm only halfway through, but this a truly insightful, critical and funny video. God only knows how much I want veteran RPG devs to rip the Fallout license out from under Bethesda.

Uhh, Bethesda are "veteran" RPG developers. They've been at it since the late 80's. Stop being so emotional.

True statement. But whoever is calling the shots at Bethesda at this moment in time, is showing a severe lack of care for what the hardcore fans have to say.

Quite right.

Calling Bethesda 'veteran' because of their time in the industry, rather than their staff, is a complete misnomer. In the same vein, RARE is a 'veteran', but for years they have been a shell. Trying to backpedal and calling me emotional because we don't share opinions is disingenuous beyond belief.

Edit: For the sake of clarity, the second part of this comment addresses u/1996HondaCivic

Ahh, okay, so you're being selective with the term veteran. I see. There is no backpedalling at all. You are being emotional. "I can't wait for XXX RPG veteran to RIP Fallout from the grips of evil Bethesda!". Meanwhile, most people like Fallout 4. Most people aren't ridiculous, self-righteous Reddit users who feel the need to constantly pick sides, and bitch and complain. Most people like Fallout 3/4 for what they do right, because again, most people don't play games actively looking for things to bitch and whine about. New Vegas is my favorite Fallout game, but I'm not gonna act like it's the best one, because there are so damn many flaws. Now that I think about it, every single Fallout game has expressed different strengths and weaknesses. The newest Fallout game has always been the worst, apparently. YOU are being disingenuous by acting like Fallout would be in any better hands than it is right now. Would you rather EA have the rights to it? Activision? Ubisoft? Yeah, I don't think so. The Fallout father himself, Brian Fargo, is currently working on Wasteland 3, which is essentially modern-classic Fallout. Since you're very bitchy about Bethesda design choices, why not go take a look at that game, instead of endlessly whining about how bad Fallout 4 is over a year after its release. Take care princess.

while i don't disagree with you, i think you're being a little intense and being slightly hostile in your attempt to make your point.

but hey, do you.
