Manchester United to start the Antoine Griezmann bidding at £60 million

While Antoine Griezmann says he's happy in Madrid, Craig Burley says Man United could be potential suitors.

The transfer window might be shut, but don't think the wheeling and dealing won't continue! Check out all the latest deals here.

Griezmann next superstar on United hit list

Antoine Griezmann continues to talk about his future, which is angering Atletico fans, but the Sun believes that Manchester United are keen to spark negotiations over a £60 million deal.

It feels improbable that the Red Devils could pull off a deal for a sum well short of that paid for Paul Pogba last summer, given the striker's prolific form over the last year.

Despite the report suggesting Diego Simeone could leave the Vicente Calderon soon, with Inter Milan a potential next destination, a contract until 2021 should help the Spanish side to negotiate an enormous fee for the player some believe is the best in the world not to represent Real Madrid or Barcelona.

PSG on the verge of Draxler deal

Julian Draxler is on the verge of making a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain, with RMC Sport reporting the Ligue 1 side have agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal for the Wolfsburg forward to move in January.

A bid of €30 million is being prepared for the German international, though the Bundesliga club want a fee closer to €40m.

It would bring a close to a short, 18-month stint for the 23-year-old after a big move from Schalke in 2015, having scored just nine goals in total and so far failing to break his duck this term.

While Draxler would represent a big splash for Unai Emery's side, Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez is also being lined up, according to RMC's report.

The attacking full-back would also fetch a sizeable fee, even though the Spanish coach has personally requested his services.

A powerful, penetrative runner from deep, the 24-year-old has chipped in with 22 goals and 27 assists since moving to the Bundesliga from Zurich and is now ready to make the step up to an elite European club.

The ESPN FC panel discuss Unai Emery's future at Paris Saint-Germain after their loss against Guingamp.

Hull to look to Montero should Snodgrass bolt

Hull City will make a swoop for Swansea's speedster Jefferson Montero, with the Mirror reporting the Tigers have identified the Ecuadorian as a replacement for Robert Snodgrass to boost their fight against relegation.

Snodgrass has reportedly snubbed a new deal and with West Brom and Celtic lurking, the Scottish international could move in January.

Mike Phelan is keen on Montero to fill the void though and is confident of reigniting the 27-year-old's career after a quiet year since falling out of favour at the Welsh club.

Tap-ins

- Bayern Munich youngster Julian Green is on his way to Stuttgart on loan, according to Steven Goff from the Washington Post.

The United States international impressed Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti enough during preseason to be kept in the senior squad for the first half of the season, but has found first-team chances hard to come by.

- James Rodriguez's exit from Real Madrid is looking more and more ominous now, with Chelsea reportedly a potential destination, and AS suggest the Colombian is already sorting a British visa for a January move.

The playmaker has been in Bogota to pick up his visa, which could prompt a mega-money switch to the Premier League.

- Ashley Young will spark a January scramble for his services with a return in January to his first club Watford rumoured by the Sun, but Jose Mourinho is hesitant to lose the versatile player.

Having graduated from the Hornets' academy, the 31-year-old could rejoin Walter Mazzarri's side for £5 million, though Everton, Swansea, West Brom, Burnley and Hull are also interested.

- Juventus midfielder Hernanes is close to joining Valencia, reports Tuttosport.

The former Lazio star has found it tough to star for the Old Lady with such fierce competition, but Cesare Prandelli should offer him a fresh start in La Liga at the Mestalla.
