Michigan? Detroit? Fuck Hegel. Go straight to the Marx.

I, personally, want to make Python (computer language) programs that can comprehend and understand Hegel - or a YouTube series

I am your dialectical antithesis.

Yes, are you in Detroit area? I'd love to continue this argument in person.

• Difference between Marxism and being a Hegelian is that Marx was a Hegelian and he hated Marxists. What else can I say? Oh yeah, while Marx's analysis of capitalism is classic, cannot be touched, hasn't been touched, never will be, nuh-uh... his description of socialism (and communism as well) barely rethinks any of our current parameters. If the 20th century proved anything, strictly Marxist/(and even worst)Maoist doctrine for the institution of socialism is flawed on some fundamental levels that need to be rethought. (By the way, I've read plenty of Marx, if you couldn't tell already). Hegel makes for a great starting point. I don't know if this is because it is only the first few centuries since he laid his Bible-level doctrine, but it seems these are the blueprints we can lay down anywhere and reconstruct everything. From scratch and with his pages alone that have condensed the rest of history into their meaningful context, placed together in a format that scarily parallels Einstein's theory of relativity, as it is genius of the highest calibre.

Marx is well lived enough. Enough people read him. People in Wall Street and Hong Kong read him. I get capitalism. I get the fundamentals he goes for. I want to create a Hegelian society.

My primary influence of today is Slavov Zizek.
