Hi, I'm Royalflush0 and I wanted to find out how credible /r/The_Donald is.

I promised that to /u/Bnjoec here after claiming that a lot of the stuff on /r/The_Donald is wrong/fake.

I am using the frontpage from 18 Dez. 2016 23:33:00 UTC. I made an archive here.

Post 1: Michelle Obama: Barack Obama is the Parent and the American Public Are His Hurt Little Kids - SHE IS AS DELUSIONAL AS HIM - You just can't make this shit up...... Thanks for the RIOTS DAD!

First post and I already found bullshit. The title makes it look like Michelle said that Barack Obama is the parent and the Public are his "hurt little kids". However all Michelle Obama did was comparing how the White House has to be calm so the public won't freak out to how a parent has to be calm to not make a toddler cry after he bumped his head. I suck at phrasing so I'll just quote Michelle herself the way they did in the article. “Our children respond to crises the way they see us respond,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, it’s like the toddler that bumps his head on the table and they look up at you to figure out if it hurts.”

Post 4: Podesta is LYING: The first email dump came an hour BEFORE, not after the access Hollywood tape. The tape was designed to distract from wikileaks, not the other way around!

Second relevant post and I found "fake news" again. The time of the two leaks can very easily be compared by looking at both tweets here and here. You can also very easily access this information by just googling it, Politifact debunked it here

Post 5: Kellyanne Conway just dropped the "Let's not forget that Bill Clinton got $1M for a speech in Russia and Hillary sold them 20% of US Uranium rights through their 'foundation'" bomb on CBS' The Nation. DAYAMN!!!!

The "$1M for a speech in Russia" seems to be refering to this speech. (Couldn't find another good source) Too bad that 1: the speech earned 500k and not 1M, and 2: the money was not "earned" by Bill Clinton but got donated to the Clinton Foundation.

The claim that Hillary sold 20% of US Uranium to a Russian company is also mostly bullshit, what happened was that Clintons department approved a deal of which some investors donated to the Clinton foundation. The whole story can be found here

The table is not faked. The stats can be found here. The table is however screwed to make it look less impactful than it is. If you change it so it shows the stats per 1,000,000 members of the victims race instead of the murderers race (which probably makes more sense when looking at BLM) the table will look slightly different, find it here (Note that my numbers are very slightly off because I probably used a different source for population stats). Also there's way more to BLM than just white to black murder.

Conclusion: I could actually "analyze" way less than I thought because it's so full of shitposts.

/r/The_Donald is way worse than I thought. I knew there was a lot of shit getting posted but I didn't expect it to be that bad. A positive aspect was that further at the top there were less shitposts. The further I scrolled down the more shitposts and memes came. Something to note about these is that they're really hateful most of the time. Most of them made fun about "triggering" liberals or insulted Obama/Podesta/Muslims.

Of the serious things I found (tweets & articles) almost all of them were bullshit. Apparently their mods don't give a fuck. Really showcases the right-wing's relationship with truth and facts. I hope the reddit admins will do something against that sub.

I'm sick of this bullshit and tired. Sorry for my poor grammar I'm from germany. Also sorry for any poor formatting. Good night. Sleep tight!

TLDR: The_Donald really doesn't give a fuck about what's the truth and what's fake anymore. Right now pretty much everything posted there is bullshit. I rate the credibility 0/10.

Donald Trump represents the same kind of inane isolationist thinking that is becoming prevalent in parts of Europe at the moment. It's so insanely short sighted that I don't know how anybody in their right mind could believe it to be a good idea. People have become more interested in saying fuck you to the old system than actually doing anything to reform it and this attitude is not one we can afford when the world is in the position it's in both with religious extremism and climate change problems threaten extreme upheaval in the coming decades. If ever a time existed for the world to work together it is now but we are instead regressing to the same disjointed system we spent most of the 20th century trying to bring down because it had led to two world wars in the space of 40 years.

I know most of these problems were caused by the political system that Hilary represented but I do not believe Donald Trump will fix them nor do I believe that Donald Trump has any inclination to fix them. He's a monkey dancing for a crowd of people who have felt disenfranchised by the system. He doesn't care about anything but being in the spotlight and being adored by his supporters so he will do and say whatever make that happen.

I don't even live in America so this isn't a Hilary v Donald view point. I believed both candidates were horrible people but I think Donald Trump is a poster boy for short sighted populism rather than the actual political upheaval that the US needed.

A disloyal American who potentially colluded with foreign powers to influence an election. He's already demonstrated that he is putting his own financial interests before the American people's interest. The CIA, FBI, and NSA all have concluded that Russia hacked the DNC and release emails to damage Clinton in order to aid Trump. This isn't some, "if we pretend this word means this than pedophiles!" kind of shit. This is legitimate, "Holy fuck, our intelligence agencies are saying what?" kind of moment. If you aren't taking a moment to rethink your support after this than I have to ask you, where do your loyalties really lie? Are you loyal to Donald J. Trump, or are you loyal to the United States. Because it is honestly looking more and more like the two are mutually exclusive.

Are calls to legalize torture, enact curfews, "close up parts of the internet", to start killing the civilian families of terrorists not dangerous to you? Is the rejection of common science like global warming not dangerous to you? Is the fact that he was prosecuted by the DOJ in the 70s for racist housing policies not dangerous to you? Is Russian intelligence being involved in his campaign not dangerous to you? Is the fact that he bragged about raping his ex-wife in his book not dangerous you? Is the fact that a billionaire who hasn't paid income tax in 25 years and has refused to release the rest of tax returns is now appointing his billionaire friends to cabinet positions not dangerous to you?

Trump is a corrupt crooked reality TV executive. He has and has had media connections his entire life. The media is responsible for Trump; they legitimized him and then graded him on a curve the entire race because they wanted to push the "horserace" narrative until the very end.

I haven't let any immigrants into this country, I don't even personally know any, and I haven't spoken in support of or had any part in the movement to bring them here. Immigrants aren't even anything I think about, but when it does come on the news and I do hear about it, I tend to lean towards the position of NOT letting all those foreigners flood in; but you being the simpleton you are, unable to understand that people don't just fall into two categories, generalizing anyone not in your camp as stupid liberals.

I am not a fucking liberal, but I sure as shit ain't a fucking conservative either, and speaking as an individual who doesn't bend over for some corporate piece of shit politician, I'm able to see from the outside looking in - and it gives me a much better view! It would take me too long to sum up what I can't stand about liberals, but comparing them to people like you, at least they're concerned about people's rights. They go over-the-top wanting to open the immigration flood gates but at least they want to help people. Your side however is infested with hatred, bigotry, and corruption - that's what the majority of Trump's campaign was built on!

And how dense you are to even bring up Hitler when he has absolutely no relevance to the point you're failing badly at trying to make. Believe it or not, a fucking load of shit changes in nearly 80 years. Germany is a heavily modernized country with great foreign relations and care more about peace and human rights. They have nothing in common with the Germany under Hitler, and if you're going to hold that against them, by that logic you should also speak out against Italy for having so many terrible emperors.

And how ironic it is that you bring up Hitler when so much of what Trump has proposed so far is actually VERY similar to actions Hitler took in the early days of his rise to power. And all over Germany there were rabid supporters of his insulting Their opposition, generalizing them, and blaming them for the world's troubles. If you want to pick a bad guy to use as your boogie man, your best bet would be to use one that your master isn't actually trying to emulate.
