Makes perfect sense. And we wouldn't have any background checks today if Democrats didn't specifically allow private sales to be exempt as part of the Brady Act.
Unless yesterday's compromise is today loophole...which means we can't trust Democrats to EVER compromise on gun laws, which means we should vehemently protest against any new laws that they propose.
Sounds like the past 20 years...and crime is down...good call.
