One of my main complaints this season is how defeated the players usually look after conceding or when things haven't gone their way. Hopefully yesterday showed the players that they have the talent to get through all that and manage to pull the game out from what looked like another undeserved draw.

Also, not sure this is relevant for this thread but what do people think of goal posts being submitted as self posts and then editing in the best replay of the goal? Seems like a good way to eliminate fragmented discussion and unnecessary comments like "mods please keep this one up". Only issue would be the queue after the goal of people trying to make that self-post.

A little earlier than usual, but I doubt I would have had the time to post it later.

I lobe the fact that Mourinho is sticking up to and praising the players. Last week he dedicated the win to Fellaini and yesterday he praised Rojo's performances and refused to discuss his tackle since he didn't discuss the tackles done by David Luiz and Danny Rose (fuck Danny Rose).

However, do you guys believe that he should take some sort of action against Rojo, perhaps bench him in the next game? Tackles like this can certainly cost us a game in the future, and he got lucky twice, he might not be as lucky next time around.

Bench him? nah. Warn him? obviously, look at Costa he's been on 4 yellow and now he behave like a saint, this kind of problem can be solved if the manager can properly speak to the player

Not gunna lie, i turned it off at 80 mins. Just seemed like one of those days and i didnt want to watch us concede 2 shit points again. Refreshed /new to see the rage and saw the goal gif...Great stuff.

The pace looked off despite dominating, and we let them into the game in the second half. We keep doing that to teams! We can't wonder why we concede.

Referee was awful. Rojo should've been off. Pogba offside. Mata onside. We got lucky with the way the decisions went but im not complaining.

With the entire top 8 winning (except Arsenal), this win was so important. In under a week we've gained 3 points on Arsenal, City and Spurs and 2 points on Liverpool. Our next run of fixtures are all winnable and the teams above us have tough games, we have to grasp the advantage

The refereeing was awful but on closer look and now the adrenaline from the game has died down, we definitely came off better for the big decisions. I don't know why people on this sub are still moaning about the ref yesterday when, if we did have all the decisions corrected, we'd have 10 men away from home 30mins in and a goal disallowed.

Granted we did have all the little, annoying shit go against us and a massive handball miss from the ref, who probably wants to crawl up and die after yesterday, poor guy haha.

The standard of refereeing across the board needs to improve, I'm not particularly an advocate of video refereeing too much, but you can't argue if every game is being nearly decided by wrong decisions something has to be done.

I noticed this last night and it has started to bug me quite a bit, whenever someone tackles Rooney I hate that he gives off for a few seconds at the ref if he doesn't get a free kick. Like yeah OK I get he is frustrated but get the fuck up and track back and try and win the ball back and help defend, instead of leaving the defence short handed cause he feels hard done by.

And Rojo needs to go back to tackling school, he should have gotten a red against Everton and another last night for both of them. Going to bite us in the ass soon if he keeps doing that, especially now with the coverage it is getting, Refs will be looking out for it.
