With the season about halfway over, let's discuss how the team has fared: -Most valuable player -Most improved -Who has disappointed -Thoughts on Jose -what positions we should improve through the transfer window

MVP's - Valencia and Pogba. They both have been consistently very good. Valencia especially, I can't remember the last time he had a bad game.

Bailly too, he was the best player before he got injured.

Most improved - Rojo or Jones

Martial has been disappointing especially compared to his last season but he's young so dips in form under new tactics can be expected and I'm not too worried. Darmian has been quite disappointing as well. the lack of a LB who can provide anything going forward has really been hurting us.

I'm disregarding frequently injured players like Shaw and Smalling who were quite poor when they did play.

MVP- Carrick Most Improved- rojo Most disappointing- Shaw Jose- been great imo, not his fault we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net Transfer ideas- LB (Shaw injured and underperforming)

I think he's a good RB for when Valencia needs a rest or decides to hang up the cleats, just don't like him as a LB.

For example, he was good today against Palace at right back, almost completely helpless against Tottenham on the left.

Anyway, MVP is De Gea, Most improved Rojo and/or Jones, Disappointing Schneiderlin/Memphis/Darmian

We need a central midfielder, possibly a cb. Also Griezmann

MVP - Carrick, Herrera or Zlatan. Most Improved - Marcos Rojo, changed my opinion about him a lot this season. Although I've always considered him a okay CB. Disappointing - Luke Shaw but maybe I expected too much to soon coming back from his injury. Martial too, but personal problems off the pitch haven't helped. Thoughts on Jose - Still happy as the moment he got announced with him. Possibly the only manager who has the hunger, ability and able to handle the pressure of being Man Utd manager. (Seen how flaky Guardiola can be, he'd be a disaster as our manager). Position's to Improve - In a way none as we have a good team when we play our best players available but maybe a top-drawer CB. A world class player like Griezmann wouldn't be a miss either.
