Learning curve for computers was pretty significant when they first came out too. It's gotten a lot easier, but even now there are still things that take some time to figure out. Hell, even setting up / changing a wifi connection on a PC is still tricky.

Get over yourself. There are a lot of Trump supporters who are awake to the manipulation of the central banks and searching for a way to fight back, there is a huge cross over with the bitcoin community already. I have been involved in bitcoin for years, and fully supported Trump's run.

Not sure how credible that is but there's a lot of good discussion, some of which I'm not really qualified to take place in (I've only been in btc for about 6 months) they could use more knowledgeable people over there to clear up misconceptions.

They also tell their members to upvote literally everything. That's how they gamed the front page for so long. Bots may be involved too but certainly don't have to be.

There is a history behind the voting patterns. In the past, upvotes were more natural, but we suddenly starting seeing huge amounts of downvotes just after the natural upvotes. For instance, we would have 100...200...300...500 upvotes, ...then suddenly it would at negative 400. A lot of people thought the downvotes were some kind of liberal or reddit conspiracy. I have no idea if they were right or not, but after that, there was this consensus to just upvote everything, even if you didn't read it. I don't know if bots got involved, but I wouldn't be surprised. At this point it is impossible to really know.
