Mental time travel. Not quite the same but I told someone I was 20 when I was 24 and it wasn't until an hour later when my sister asked why I lied did I even realize it happened.

A couple days after my 17th birthday I got caught by some police underage drinking and rolling joints in the parking lot of a concert. I was pretty fucked up and when they asked how old I was I was like 16, and the cops grabbed my ID and were like "you know your birthday was a couple days ago right?"

We had a good laugh and then they wrote me up for underage drinking and let me throw my weed away unsupervised (basically they let me walk over to the dumpster, throw my joints on the ground, and walk back, so I could go get them later lol)

Good guy police.

Probably from California. Cops here haven't given a shit about weed for a long time

Lol so wrong. They do anything to meet quota, in my personal experience

Depends where you live. Where I live, the cops smoke too.

Unless you're black.

That is an A1 user name their frient

The cops can smoke too but on duty they'll still ruin your life for it.

This is completely factual so I don't understand the down-votes. The cops in California aren't any more liberal than our laws. Most likely because that's there job

I'm 25 and i got carded buying beer at a gas station at about an [8] the guy didn't believe it was me because i guess i look pretty young and my hair was much shorter when i got my licence at 18. He asked me my birthday so i said the 24th. He almost didn't even give me my licence back because my birthday is the 23rd and he thought it was fake. I had to show him multiple other cards and stuff with my name and face.

Yea, after i turned 21 i stopped trying to remember what age i was. Theres been a few times i got carded and couldnt remember if i was 23 or 24.

Same here, and it really bugs some people when you don't keep track of stuff like that. I just barely keep track of what day or month it is. Don't really have a need to. My usual response when someone asks how old I am is generally, " Well, that depends. What year is it?"

That really throws some people for a loop. Gives me enough time to figure it out though.

What's the fine for underage drinking?

They pull you into the juvenile section of the court and tell you to not do bad things, not even kidding

That's pretty normal though. I even have to pause and think about it when I'm sober. Every age after 20 have been a blur to me. Nothing big happens after 20 in Sweden. (Well OK one thing, at 25 you gain the right to get sterilised, but that's it)

I can understand dates and maybe forgetting how old a parent/friend is, but good lord. That's pretty funny.

It's pretty normal. Also I don't really have anything in my day to day life that signify the passage of time.

Same here, 21(legal drinking age) and 25(insurance goes down) will stand out, but any year between there is just kind of blurred together.

I do too, I miss me some tasty chicken sandwiches. Last time I was in one, the cashier is holding my drink, turns to her manager and says "I think the sodas flat, it came out funny." Then she smiled at me and handed me the drink like that's okay to do.

The chicken had all this gross grey sludge on it too. I gusss it was rendered fat from dirty grill. And worst of all, there was no pickle.

[–]Dont_Ask_I_Wont_Tell 20 ポイント21 ポイント  (4子コメント)

There was one right next to where I used to work at. one morning I saw there was no line so I was like fuck yeah and went into the drive thru. After five minutes of waiting to order whatever the fuck I was going to order I realized it was a fucking Sunday. I felt like a moron. Needless to say no spicy chicken biscuits were consumed

5 minutes? You didn't get the hint when no cars were parked in the parking lot?

I legit waited at a checkers for 2-3 mins once at 7am even tho there was no other cars around, but when you pull up to the drive through an automated (now I know it's automated) message that sounds exactly like a drive thru worker through the bad speaker greets you something like "welcome to checkers, hold on a second we'll be right with you".. Cocksuckers, got me

My friend ashed his mcchicken out the window of his car instead of his cigarette because he was so stoned

One time me and my friend were walking down a street, pretty high smoking a cigarette and drinking monsters. I still have no idea how, but he had both the cigarette and monster in the same hand, went to take a drink and hit the cigarette at the same time absent minded and ended up swallowing the cigarette. 5 Seconds later he pukes everything up, then is back to normal. I couldn't stop laughing for 10 minutes.

That's okay OP! You can easily offset eating meat by cutting some flesh from your body and feeding it to an animal that's in need in order to restore balance to your vegetarian equilibrium!

Ha! When I was a young 16 year old I was at my friend's and we decided to smoke up to celebrate finishing our GCSE's. Fast forward 2 joints and we decide to order take away. It wasn't until one of the girls was half way through her "mighty meaty" burger that my other friend shouted "Lisa! You're a vegetarian!'. And that is the story of how Lisa stopped being a vegetarian.

Veggies are great to eat when you're high.

Boil up some broccoli, carrots, put some chicken broth in there, some angel hair pasta, throw some diced potatoes in, get a lil asparagus and collard greens on the side with a lil butter on both, some celery with peanut butter and raisins for dessert, and then you remember you have frozen grapes in the freezer.

And it's all relatively healthy. At least much more so than a big ol burger with fries and a sodie pop.

Ah yes fresh squeezed chicken broth

Other options include veggie broth

Calories are not inherently bad for you. You know that right? Calories=energy. It's the type of food that the energy comes from that matters.

Yeah but you get to eat a bunch more food if you're eating vegetables and they have actual nutritional value.

I'm no nutritionist though, i just think veggies are underrated.

Eh, the guy that made the "traditional families" comment a while back that started that whole thing is dead now, and I don't think there's been much controversy since then. I don't see any problem with supporting your local franchise owner, or a company that treats their employees extremely well and has really high standards for quality and customer service.

Lesbian here. I have no problem eating at Chick Fil A, most of the places are owned by independent owners like most fast food places and have only a tiny bit to do with corporate like menu, not operating on Sundays, sharing a tiny bit of the profits, etc. Those people that own that place could be really great so it doesn't really bother me that much. Just like you though the Salvation Army actually does piss me off though and I havent given them a dime in years, they put their hate into action more than a guy that might own a couple Chick Fil A's in some area.

Thanks for letting me know. They're set up outside of where I work, and before I was just choosing to not give them money because if I paid every time I worked it'd be stupid, but now I know not to give them money on principle too.

Can you give me a TL;DR of why the Salvation Army is so bad? I hadn't heard about that and I dropped a couple dollars in a bucket the other day :/

It's a fairly conservative Christian organization. In 2001, they argued they (and other religious groups) should be exempt from anti-discrimination legislation (which was denied). In October 2001, the "Salvation Army Western Territory" began recognizing same sex domestic partnerships for benefits for their employees which was pretty universally shit on by most Evangelical and other more radical Christian groups and was rescinded by the national Salvation Army in November of the same year. They've done some other stuff in the UK and New Zealand pretty strongly opposing same-sex marriage and relationships. In 2013 it came out [hehe] that they were referring LGBT people to conversion therapy [from what I understand, it was on their website and it was taken off after the news broke].

tl:dr They've had a history of being assholes to the LGBT community and they haven't done much at all to get better.

Also, from the 40's to the 80s, the Australian Salvation Army sheltered kids that they recently acknowledged had suffered sexual abuse under their care, and they've had some trouble understanding the whole "separation of church and state" thing.

Inequality is their game. They hate gay people, ect.

They put me back in a house after mine burned down, so...

They do some good I'm not discounting that but I used to have a friend who was denied housing with his family because his mom was gay and in a relationship. Similarly they would rather trans people be homeless than reside in their shelters. One of their high ranking officials even said LGBTQ people should be put to death.

Non human rights reasons to not support them include also they treat their bell ringers like shit and don't pay them a living wage for standing out in the cold and soliciting donations.

I'm glad you're doing alright and that they helped you but I'm just letting you know youd have a lot different experience if you were LGBTQ. I support Goodwill instead which has a much better record.

Also the Salvation Army completely pulled out of San Francisco when the city forced them to comply with their anti-discrimination ordinances.

Just eat beans bro. Or any of the meat replacements. Or nuts. Quinoa, specifically, is healthy as fuck, delicious, and is a complete protein source. Further reading

You can totally be a vegetarian and get protein, iron, and everything else people think is hard to get. I think the only thing you can't actually get from plants is B12, but you can take supplements easily, or drink an energy drink since they almost all have a shitload of B vitamins.

Also, some vegetarians, myself included, eat eggs and dairy. I don't eat meat, but those are fine with me and they have plenty of protein.

Today I got stoned and went to chick fil a. It was incredible. I started to think about the last time I had been there and I couldn't remember. Right when I asked myself why I no longer went to chick fil a, I remembered I am vegetarian.

That's a story about how I got so stoned I forgot I was vegetarian and ate meat :(

All the comments people make in this post are hilarious but then I remember lots of people think it's cool to drive while stoned and when you imagine these kind of lapses in concentration everyone is admitting to, kinda scary.

Did you finish the sandwich after you remembered?

I live in a place that just recently got a Chik fil a, I mean November recent. It has been packed nonstop. I finally went (twice). I really don't see what all the hype is. The chicken tenders were tasty enough, as was the chicken sandwich, but neither were amazing.

their nuggets are whats up, but they are way too fucking expensive

Interesting. If I go there again, I'll try them. Yea, though, their stuff ain't cheap.

I have been trying to make more food at home, but I still grab some fast food. Usually 4 for 4 at Wendy's, or 2 for $2.50 at McD's with a small drink. As you see, I go for cheapness.

yea they're $5 here for 12 of them, which sounds decent but theyre EXCEPTIONALLY small. Definitely worth getting once to try them though.

I actually take it a step further and not only go for cheap, but quick as fuck, and just drink soylent for half of my food intake

So, in the end, the propaganda wasn't just a bunch of lies : It's The Munchies That Kills!

Granted cannabis never killed humans, who could've thought, the type of killer we become on cannabis, is the BBQ Ribs and chicken wings killer...

I feel like there is a biological drive to go to Chic-Fil-A on Sunday's. It happens far too often. The closest Chic-Fil-A to my house is like a 20 minute drive too.

I'm a vegetarian too and this is my nightmare. My question is - how long have you been vegetarian? Did you feel sick after ?
