Donald Trump explains how he will defy the Constitution immediately after taking office

On Sunday, during a Fox News interview Donald Trump confirms he will violate the constitution when he takes office. Trump has made it clear that he will be transferring management of his business to his adult children, but says he will not abandon ownership.
Since Trump refused to hand complete ownership over to his adult children, he will still be receiving money from foreign governments while president.
“When I ran, everybody knew that I was a very big owner of real estate all over the world,” Donald Trump said in an attempt to defend his decision to maintain ownership. “I’m not going to have anything to do with management of the company.”
Since Donald Trump refuses to hand over complete ownership, he will be in violation of Article 9, Section 1 of the Constitution, which prohibits office holders from receiving “any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.” If Trump maintains an income from his business, any foreign government employee who chooses to stay in one of Trump’s hotels will technically be contributing to his salary. In the recent past, Trump hosted a gathering between his staff and about 100 foreign diplomats to discuss business ties. During the gathering at Trump’s hotel it’s more than likely all of them purchased something from the hotel at some point.
