LWSE celebrated their new status as subreddit of the day by posting youtube videos about murdering u/Prince_Kropotkin. Unsurprisingly, pushing for the murder of a reddit user isn't okay.

Solid free speech principles you guys have going on here. Liberal hypocrisy is always wonderful. You'll cry over coontown and European being shut down, but commies are involved? "Fuck their views, I just want to make fun of blacks!"

Edit2: I know most of you aren't actually racists. Was just joking around. I do think it's a bit absurd some of you complain about free speech yet rejoice about communist subs getting banned. At least be consistent in your beliefs.

I agree with you, hate-speech should absolutely be removed from our society. Also oppressive institutions, such as the police. Wonder if they'll go willingly...

Hehe, that's where our ideologies will clash a bit probably, I’m guessing you're more of an ancom type, right? I think a state that provides and cares for its citizens would be a good thing (hence me being a state socialist), and some form of police on order to keep the peace and protect people would also be a good thing imo.

Not quite. I'm a Trot. I recognize the need for a transitional state. Community police forces with strict accountability, made up of people from within the community, would be ideal in a transitional state. Definitely nothing like we see today. Current Western police forces serve the interests of the ruling class, and are inherently fighting against the interests of the working people. Not to mention their lack of oversight and unregulated power that constantly leads to abuses.

I honestly think spez should ban the_donald. This place is a glorified message board, it does not have to be 100% beholden to notions of free speech. Furthermore, the fallout from it does not match the collective shit they pull on a routine basis.
