                      Buncha crows, magpies, etc. exhibit mobbing behavior against birds of prey. There are tons of videos if you look up "birds mobbing" of some raptor being bombarded but barely flinching from their spot. When they are on a kill, however, they're a little more vulnerable. Preferably, a raptor kills something away from mobbing birds or kills something small enough to take it with them in a doggy-bag, where they can eat at home in privacy.

                      Not to mention sparrow hawks are smaller than most grown magpies.
