3 points gained on Spurs and City, 2 on Liverpool. Overall good weekend. But we're still so heavily off the pace.

If we can gain any ground at all on Wednesday that'd be great. We're highly unlikely to climb the table, but being basically level with Spurs and within touching distance of Liverpool/City would be great. Not that I expect anyone to slip up.

We were pretty lucky though. On another day, Wanyama's header goes in, or Rose gets a penalty at the end. Just grateful it didnt happen...We need to kill games off to avoid this nonsense.

Yes, but on another day, Pogba scores that early 1st half pullback chance instead of putting it too close to Lloris as he did. And he also scores his freekick. It's hard to look at a game in a negative light based on "what ifs".

I agree we need to kill games, but football is also a game of luck and fortune. We just need to keep creating chances in order to keep creating our own luck, and the game-killing goals will come.

Where do you guys think Mkhi ranks among the likes of Hazard, KDB, Ozil and Coutinho?

He was worldclass last season and when he has finally been given a chance here he has continued that worldclass Level.

Not as good as any of them from what we've seen in England. They've all produced consistently at a high level over many games. Mkhi has had 5/6 games in form. 2 in the Europa League.

Still way, way too early to tell.

I'm still confused as to what happened with the early Walker vs Pogba moment. Didn't he put both studs up into Pogba's stomach? Was it not as serious as it seemed?

On a side note, I'm so glad we managed to close out the game. Hopefully this gives the team a boost. Mou putting on Rashford wasn't quite playing to the "he wants to sit back" narrative though, I guess he's going to make the team finish it off as soon as possible and not rest.

Valencia showing the sort of form he showed in 11-12, hopefully our back four can stay settled and injury free for a little while longer, although I'm not a huge fan of Darmian

Was at the game, in the Stretford end, after my last game, against Stoke, and I really do have to say I think we made a difference. You could clearly tell the nerves started to take hold of the players, around the 65-70th minute, and it started to filter into the crowd, but we just started singing and roaring, and cheering everything we could. It wasn't an instant flick of a switch change, but it definitely did feel like something.

United were good and solid, Spurs were poor and we definitely did enough to give them only their 2nd defeat of the season. Go out and go again on Wednesday, and a few more wins over the Christmas, and see where we are in 2 weeks.

Didn't get to see the game live because I was busy wasting time rehearsing with that band I was lured into, but finally came back home and went directly over to /r/footballdownload without knowing the score and watched the game.

Holy shit the rectum clenching in the second-half.

Fucking emotional roller coaster with Mkhi too. Thank god he'll soon be alright.
