I had the most karma on
/r/ideasfortheadmins
(or was at least top 3) when I was banned. I was not given a reason or had broken any sidebar rules.
I hadn't broken any sidebar rules on
/r/awwnime
when I was banned. I was not given a reason. My modmail asking to reverse the ban went completely ignored. Someone who was trolling me on that sub still has posting privileges, BTW.
I got banned from a bunch of subs in the imaginary network because I didn't use the exact title that the artist used (again, this rule was nowhere on the sidebar or anywhere else). When I contacted the mod and tried to explain that there are some subs that encourage the exact opposite -- making up titles -- my temporary ban in that sub became a permanent ban in that sub and several I've never even heard of before.
I'm banned from
/r/offmychest
because a subreddit I mod was raided by a subreddit I haven't heard of before and I went over there to address concerns they might have and explain what kind of sub I was moderating.
I got a temp ban from /modhelp (of all places) because I did something an admin themselves did--made a subreddit for someone who didn't have the karma requirement (and stayed on the list as top mod to prevent any hijinks). This is also nowhere on their sidebar, BTW.
I'm banned from
/r/anime
because I tried to make a meta sub for them and they apparently were going to do that themselves, which I obviously had no way of knowing.
TL;DR fuck everything about the above and about your idea.
