So the steady onslaught of Lucian stuff has decreased, which is good but it's certainly not stopped. Particularly over the past week, Lucian has self-diagnosed and named the parasites controlling him (and all of us).

According to Lucian, the mind-controlling things are exhibited by a disease called Morgellons which is either backed by or hidden by the CIA. This parasite is in every living thing according to Lucian, which seems like it's a ship that's already sailed. But maybe he's figured out a way to get it out of here because he looks fairly normal in recent photos.

For the record, Wikipedia has the following to say about Morgellons. It's basically a 'disease' some nutter mom conjured from a 17th century letter:

Morgellons is the informal name of a self-diagnosed skin condition in which individuals have sores that they believe contain some kind of fibers. Morgellons is poorly understood but appears to be a form of delusional parasitosis; the sores are the result of compulsive scratching, and the fibers, when analysed, turn out to originate from textiles.
