2' United almost score immediately! Mkhitaryan controls the ball in midfield, surges forward and plays Ibra threw on the wing and his squared ball to Pogba is hit low to the bottom corner but Lloris saves well. Very silky move!

5' The game is already being played at a fast pace with both teams looking to surge forward when they have the ball.

10' Tottenham have grown into the game quickly and are looking good in possession. United are playing a high-pressing game and trying to hurry them, though.

15' United have been pinned in our half for a few minutes now, but no major chances for Spurs yet.

20' After a succession of dangerous Spurs free kicks, United are back to looking dangerous and it's taken a few key blocks by the Tottenham defence to stop good shots on target.

25' Martial's been having a bit of trouble with ball control, especially at pace and on counter attacks, but we're getting into very encouraging positions.

28' MANCHESTER UNITED GOAL MKHITARYAN SCORES! KANE LOSES THE BALL IN MIDFIELD AND IT FALLS TO HERRERA WHO PLAYS A GREAT BALL THROUGH TO MKHITARYAN WHO'S CLEAR ON GOAL AND HE SMASHES IT PAST LLORIS INTO THE BACK OF THE NET! NO QUESTIONS ABOUT IT!

31' MANCHESTER UNITED YELLOW CARD Valencia lunges in late on Rose and gets booked. That means he'll miss the game at Crystal Palace.

33' United, again, play fast football to counter and Valencia's cross goes all the way through to Ibra at the far post but his low shot is saved well by Lloris at the near post.

40' While not all of it has worked, United are playing very encouraging football and are trying to push forward every time we have the ball. Not a lot of lackadaisical passing like previous years. Eriksen and Dembele have been Spurs' most dangerous players and Kane's not done much so far.

45' Valencia's just swung in a great cross that goes over Ibra's head and Martial attempts a volley/half-volley and I'm pretty sure that's actually flown out of Old Trafford.
