Basically all social liberalism of the last fifty years is predicated on the assumption that the sexes are interchangeable for any and every purpose, but hard biological facts are having none of that. Stop damaging our society for the sake of a flawed concept of equality.

I'm going to go out and say a male soldier who is captured is much less likely to be raped, especially since the current enemy punishes homosexuality with death. It doesn't make it better for a man than a woman to be tortured and killed, but women prisoners are likely to be around much longer than a man would, mostly because she is a woman who the enemy soldiers will likely molest multiple times a day for a very long time. The punishments for the woman would likely be much longer lasting.

Troops don't care. We just want them to match the same fitness requirements that we have to so they can carry a wounded troop with a heavy ass ruck should a casualty happen

Problem is there aren't any capable of this but hey if any branch finds one without lowering the scores all fucking good.

The Turks can have female soldiers because their equipment boils down to an AK one of the lightest rifles in the world at 7 pounds.

The article takes a long time to get into the science starting with a whole bunch of "ifs" with the first one being "if women have more injuries then men" when science has shown males have more injuries then females.

Also I do honestly support a rare case of a women, only if capable to the same standards as the men, should be allowed in combat. No crying or needing extra pads or muscle loss. Only rare women who can hold their own should be allowed. There is the problem of the men protecting her instead of just letting her tough it our or even die if the time comes. Which is another factor to consider. Leave the decision to the generals, not social/conservative decision makers.
