Mkhi not the POTY (self.reddevils)

Not too sure how relevant this is to this subreddit, but why does everyone say Mkhitaryan was the Bundesliga player of the year when Aubameyang won it? Not taking anything away from Mkhi's ability I'm just curious, there seems to be a misconception.

German magazine Kicker runs a vote among Bundesliga players every season, in which he was voted Best Outfield Player in 2015/16.

Kicker is a little more respectable than The Sun. They organise the vote, the players are the ones who take part. It's the equivalent of the PFA Player's Player of the Year, but less glitzy.

EDIT: Bundesliga also have a PPOTY one too, but the Kicker vote is pretty highly regarded too.

Wow it looks like he was 3rd best players player of the year behind Aubameyang and Lewandowski. I just took everybody's word for it that he won it. Good shout.

He won the players player of the year which if you ask any professional is the one they all want. To be voted the best by your peers is much more satisfying
