This makes him look bad. His entire argument recently has been standing up for the smaller YouTube channels, to give a big middle finger to YouTube with how bad it has gotten recently...... "NOPE hahaha it was just a prank bro!"

People wanted him to delete, not because they hate him (tho many people do) but because by doing so it would have been a big shake up to YouTube, it would have made headlines world wide, YouTube would have been forced to act.

Now Pewds has just done what he constantly bashes, click-bait, this is the biggest click-bait in YouTube history. He lied to everyone, a big marketing trick to bring in more views and more subs.

It's not like he needs the money, he can easily go into retirement now, there is no reason for him to keep his channel other than to feed his ego, he would have easily made 50 million subs again in a year anyway.
