The man is not interested in receiving intelligence briefings. Is this because he knows he can't keep his mouth shut? Or is it because he knows that information is useless to him given its already going to the right person (Pence and other Republicans)?

Assuming it's #2, does this mean all the GOP wants is a rubber stamp President to do their bidding and take the fall when shit goes bad? Is it possible Trump is a deluded patsy?

His existing predisposition to corruption and nepotism makes him a prime target for things that could get him impeached in the future. The GOP will by hook and crook prevent that from happening until he is of no use to them, then they'll discard him like no tomorrow. The same Kellyanne Conway who defends him tooth and nail will turn on him, and every GOP leader will claim they're upholding the sanctity of the Constitution while turning on Trump.

This is what I predict (or hope) to see happening
