It's been a while since I've been to Lavs (or out in general after having kids :D), I was more of a Limelight/Katy Daly's/Spring & Airbrake student back in the day. Now I spend most of my time drinking overpriced coffee around Cathedral Qtr, so I envy your freedom :D

I LOVE FFXV - I have been playing for over 26hours and I've barely advanced the storyline! So many sidequests!

The map is fucking huge too! And I'm loving the soundtracks from previous FF games that you can listen to while in the car, or on the mp3 player when you're walking around.

Xbox. Got placed in low Plat, made my way up to mid Diamond (around 3265ish), then had a colossal tilt and went on a terrible terrible losing streak and ended up at around 2716, and having spent all night playing I'm on roughly 2935 again now...and want to go home to continue that climb to master :(

Nice going. I'm on PC, went like 5/4/1 in placements and got like 2600ish I think. Near hit diamond last season then had a big loosing streak as well.

Been loving DVA since her buffs, she is a beast. Usually a Pharah or Lucio player, need to diversify my champ and pool a bit more tho

EDIT: My triggers and fears are at their worst at this time of year. Sounds stupid but I see a hazy, almost fog-like glow around streetlights and car headlights which sets me off (you probably don't see it because your eyes are working perfectly normal) but yeah, driving when it's dark I tend to see a hazy globe around streetlights - which may or may not have always been there, but health anxiety tells me otherwise - I've had my eyes checked several times this year for different things and nothing has been picked up so I think I'll just rock back and forth until spring.

It's one of the few shows were you genuinely don't see some of the twists coming, fantastic!

Also looking forward to the netflix version of a Series of Unfortunate Events, loved those books when I was a kid. The movie was absolutely butchered so hopefully netflix do a good job with it!

Pretty sure that Conor McGregor story is official now too. Dana White said he'd done it. Crazy, wonder if it will just be complete shit haha.

Obsessed with the Witcher series after playing 3. Bought the first one but I couldn't handle the combat mechanics so I've bought the books and going to buy witcher 2 this weekend. Keeps me from going out too much so I'm saving a lot of money. Win win.

Same issue with the first one for me, bought it in a Christmas sale but the combat mechanics threw me off right away...second one is much more enjoyable. Third one is simply an incredible game from start to finish.

Been playing FIFA career with United. 17 is very diff to 14 which was my last FIFA title. United are OP in the game, Zlatan Martial Rooney Mkhitaryan Pogba are amazing (plus my additions of Verrati Tielemans and Varane).

For corners, if you drive them towards the front post when Zlatan is standing there, you can score 1 in 4 times I reckon. The guy can get his head and feet to almost every ball!

I usually just drill it by holding down square, as close to the post as I can. Ibra more often than not gets a head to it and flicks it in back post.

Missed my bus stop last night and the next stop after is 10 minutes down a motorway. I got off and soon realised I couldn't simply cross the road and get on one coming the other way. With 20 minutes to go till kick off, I knew I wouldn't make it. Google maps said the quickest way was a 2.5km walk through a pitch black forest in -5 degree weather. So I took the route and ran most of the way to the nearest train station. 2 trams and a bus later I got home and got a stream up just as the first goal went in to the back of the net. Never missing the stop again.
