A copy of this last RB title sold on ebay today in a matter of hours for $2000.

It should not cost this much to obtain a single title in the series or a complete set of same.

I propose to approach the Goodwin trust or their counsel with a proposal for a second issue. Would those of you with an interest please write in so I have some notion of the interest in the idea and the finances therefore? Off the top of my head I was thinking of an issue price of $50 or $100 (this can be discussed) keeping in mind the relatively small print run and the need to make the idea financially attractive to the involved parties. I am not thinking of a for profit venture, except to pay the holders of the copyright, printing, art work, etc.

I am new to the group and if the group would prefer someone else to put forth its interest, I am totally fine with that. I am a retired attorney with some background in negotiation, maybe that's why I thought of this letter, but someone else could likely do as good or better job. It's just that it needs to get done.

If part of the reason nothing has occurred is to maintain the value of the 500 copies currently in circulation, I think we agree this should fail as compared with our desire to have a complete set of RB. The above is, of course, just idle speculation.

If this interests anyone else in any way, please write in. If you'd be willing to pay a reasonable fee to own a copy of MT (as opposed to a torrent file or other online soft copy) please let me/us know.
