Missing Persons

  • Must be validated and reported by a local news service proving that the person is missing.

Reddit has strict site-wide policies pertaining to unverified personal information.

Rules we enforce

  • Direct general questions, inquiries, etc. to r/AskSF
  • Post/promote events to r/SFEvents
  • Post classifieds, promotions, gigs, etc. to r/SFList
  • No editorialized titles. Editorialized titles should be reported, mods may flair the post or remove it.
  • Do not sell anything or promote services of any kind.
  • Do not fundraise of any kind
  • Do not post surveys of any kind.
  • Post lost, found, or stolen items to r/SFList
  • Do not promote a musical band; consider r/SFMusic
  • No posting personal info. The exception being reputable news articles.
  • No personal attacks.
  • No URL shorteners.
  • Do not promote Android/iOS or web apps; consider r/AndroidApps or r/Apple
  • No photographers seeking models; consider r/SFList
  • Link to original sources, don't re-home images or link to blog-spam.
  • No Alt-right racist, neo-Nazi, white supremacy, white nationalist, hate speech of any kind as described here.
  • Follow reddiquette.

The mods reserve the right to remove content or comments and ban users who do not comply with our rules and posting guidelines

Banning Problem Users

In an effort to foster a positive community, if a user is generating an extraordinary volume of complaints, reports, allegations of misconduct, etc., and it comes to a point where the mod team is allocating more than half of its time dealing with a single problem user, said user will be permanently banned.
