The president-elect is turning to a business executive who opposes many of the pro-worker policies introduced by Labor Secretary Tom Perez, according to a Republican briefed on the decision. Puzder, who runs the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., is an opponent of rules that would expand overtime eligibility and a fierce critic of the campaign to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
