About this project
AND YES, IT PLACES YOUR SHEETS TOO!
SMARTDUVET doesn't replace your existing bed or bedding, it simply makes them better. Our patent pending technology uses a simple inflatable sheet placed between your duvet and duvet cover. This breathable layer is made of extremely light weight material that is seamless and resistant.
When you activate SMARTDUVET it inflates the sheet's air chamber placing the duvet and sheets back in position. With the app, you can preset a different bed-making time for each day of the week, letting you sleep-in on the weekends if you want to.
We are proud to bring you the world's first, easy, affordable and universal bed-making solution.

Components:
The SMARTDUVET box: This components is made of resistant ABS plastic. It houses the blower and electronic board that connect SMARTDUVET with your smartphone.
The SMARTDUVET sheet: This component is made very thin and lightweight space age material. The sheet has a grid shape that allows for natural air circulation and prevents heat accumulation.
The connector: The purpose of this component is to allow the air from the SMARTDUVET air blower to fill the Smartduvet sheet.
The smart attach system: It attaches the bottom of your duvet cover to your top sheet placing the duvet and sheet simultaneously. It also attaches the fitted sheet to the duvet cover aligning it in position when SMARTDUVET is activated.
Our smartphone App : Allows you to preset bed-making time for each day. You can, for example, set the SMARTDUVET to make your bed all weekdays at 7:15 AM and set the time to 9:30 on weekends when you know you want to sleep in.

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT:
We all wished at one point we had a self-making bed. Our reasons to wish for such a device are many. When we were kids we just didn't see the value in wasting precious play time on such a boring and repetitive task.
As we grow older it often makes sense to skip making our beds to get to work on time or prepare breakfast for the kids. And for people living with disability, making their bed can represent long and painful moments trying to preserve some comfort and a sense of dignity.
That is why we created SMARTDUVET!
ABOUT US:
We are a dedicated team that thrives on making real change in the world we live in. We believe SMARTDUVET can help millions live a happier life by not having to make their beds. After all, technology is suppose to relieve us of our mundane daily tasks so we can do more of what we love.

Risks and challenges
For every project there is risk involved. We've detailed below the 2 key risks involved with a project like ours:
1- Sourcing:
Sourcing is not an easy task, as many of you know, it is one of the most crucial parts of any project involving a physical product. Sourcing with the wrong suppliers can have disastrous consequences on quality and delivery schedule.
That is why we made the decision to work with an experienced family run sourcing company with family members living here as well as in Asia. This gives us the incredible advantage to be able to, not only find the best suppliers, but also achieve unrivaled quality control and total access to every step of the fulfillment process.
2.Unexpected high demand:
It might seem like the problem every entrepreneur wants to have, but in reality not planning for huge demand can cause delays and ruin client satisfaction.
We make sure that the suppliers we are working with have production capacity that would dwarf even the biggest success stories seen on Kickstarter. With production capacities of thousands of units per month these suppliers are working with well established companies that, just like us, demand the highest standards.
