Users undercooked_lasagna, k9catalysm, and NDubbYa all seemed to think they know better than me as a muslim about what I should be doing for my own good the other day. Apparently I'm "pretentious" for not donating money to the Clinton campaign while living in the bluest part of America, and not thinking that writing to Congress members and paying attention to politics outside of election season is a waste of time compared to campaigning for a candidate who was guaranteed to win my state. And I'm a "useless" conspiracy theorist for thinking the US shouldn't be helping Saudi Arabia bomb Yemen.

Meanwhile, this sub has a hard-on for anyone who shits on people to the left of Hillary Clinton even if it's someone who would agree on Trump w/ 90% of issues. It gets really tiring being accused of being a "white dudebro" (I'm not!!) by white people for not being a fan a wealthy white woman.

Yet you imply that we as Clinton supporters back fascists.

Not implying that, just saying that you have a strong preference towards them over progressives evidenced by applauding people who agree with Trump on most issues for shitting on people who would otherwise be your allies on issues you purport to care about.

So you should see why i dont have much sympathy for a tankie coming here into a subreddit DEDICATED TO SHITTING ON BERNIE SANDERS AND BERNIE BROS and then complaining about being shit on. We shit on you because you are very clearly politically ignorant, not because you are not a fan of Clinton.

White liberals think it is impossible for a minority to have a legitimate reason to disagree with them. Must be ignorance.

Let's provide a little context.

This is the post that I directed to this user.

As you can see, there's a chain of deleted posts. Not to worry, I can still express why I made that comment.

A) This user didn't vote.

B) This user wanted people to care about their issues despite not voting.

C) This user had a direct personal stake and issues they cared about in this election and still didn't vote.

D) Here's the big one that floored me. This user was worried about their family being barred from the US and, despite the knowledge that Trump may enact the Muslim ban, still didn't vote.

Note I didn't tell you what to do, tell you what to do for your own good, or think I know more about being a Muslim than you are. I simply expressed my astonishment.

Personally, I'm past the give warning phase for brogressives. I'm in this phase now.

So this is the only response I can offer to individuals such as yourself in your situation.

The majority of Muslims preferred him but you don't care because you hate when we share our actual points of view instead of bowing down to you. So did the majority of people of color under 45.
