A free 7* toon? (self.SWGalaxyOfHeroes)

According to my maths we should get 290 shards over the next ten days added to the 50 we got in the pack that's a full 7* toon right? I can see why it's users are Pissed if that's the case.

i saw the same as you, but event datamines for what it's worth are probably the most tenuous. the turnaround on some of these as described by capgasp can be pretty short.

at the very least, CG would be smart to hint at an iOS exclusive character sometime today if they do plan on introducing one, just to ease the unrest on the forums.

Based on the fact that they weren't allowed to discuss the platform exclusivity, I'm guessing they made a deal with Google, and if they are going to make one with Apple it hasn't been finalized yet.

Yes, as long as you have a full 7* team capable of completing all tiers before the first reset (or use resets to make up for missing shards) you will get enough shards to 7* him

Yep 7* free toon. People are salty because it's only android. And then when ever iOS people get something exclusive, Android people will be salty and iOS people will not say a thing.

We do, feel bad for you but clearly Google is paying for this so it's not exactly CG's fault either. Should consider some sort of thing though as a "well, they are not paying but we can at least give you.. insert whatever, 500 crystals".. as something.

I've played this game for awhile now and haven't gotten a situation where iOS got something and android got NOTHING yet. Could have happened before my time perhaps but I started in like March...

iOS just got Wedge instead of Biggs. Apparently iOS is destroying on newer shards due to it (due to players not able to farm Wedge yet).

Yes this is messed up, and they should stop it, but it does happen the other way around at times as well.

iOS got 2-star lando that android didn't get.

iOS got an ewok event that android didn't get. (android got a droid event, but ewoks were far harder to farm.)

iOS got the most over-powered character in the history of the game in early-days poe--nerfed only after iOS users cleaned up in arena for more than a month, since even a 4-star poe was dominant.

I know you are directly responding to a question of "who got what", but the issue, to me is an issue of fairness. Both sides think some things are unfair.

Case in point: Ewoks are harder to farm but droids are considerably better in arena. Wedge is harder to farm than Biggs in arena, but Biggs is better in ships.

My frustration, as an ios user, is fairness, not equality. My frustration with CG is the lack of communication. If they said "Android partnered with EA/CG for this event" I would know to direct my frustration at Apple (which is probably the case). Their lack of information and me having to find out on forums or gloating guild mates is the tough part to swallow.

you asked a question and i answered.

noteworthy about the ewok vs. droid events: the droid event for android users came out first without even a hint of the future iOS event. eventually iOS got an exclusive event of their own, but it wasn't until a month or so later.

are you serious with this? droids are some of the most easily farmed characters in the game and ewoks were the dominant team in the rancor raid.

not to mention on poe vs. phasma, poe is the much longer farm in cantina shipments vs. phasma's GW shipments. the history of this game is not one of iOS getting the shaft.

Yeah I was pretty annoyed that iOS got that Ewok event at the time, I was pushing hard for ewoks back then (I still don't have ES at 7*).

You conveniently ignored the point about iOS getting Poe early.

Android got Phasma, who was available in GW shipments. Poe on the other hand was amongst extremely stiff competition to farm using a resource far slower to acquire.

And Poe (like Shoretrooper) was instantly viable with gear at his star unlock level.

It does nothing to change the current situation, but trying to argue that Poe wasn't a god-tier reward (when it came out) is just silly.

Completely forgets the fact that the Ewok Event was a charity event and you got 5-6 shards total, spread between 4 characters, per clear if you were lucky.... But yes, tell me more on how iOS gets just as much as Android. And how it is equal to getting a 7 star character or even a 6 star character as I figure most people will get.

By now your argument of Poe giving an advantage in Arena is invalid, most people in Arena are in their spot because they payed a certain amount of money. Thats all this game boils down to, who spends the most money as with most mobile games are.

Thats not exacly true ... he is more importent at this moment becose we do not have good taunters. But in time i think Wedge will be better, he is REALLY Good DPS. But Wedge is much harder to farm, biggs is super easy ;)

He's not hard to farm though. He shows up in Fleet shipments constantly. You can get ~15 shards a day of him now. That's not a hard farm.

Also Biggs came with ship credits-- Wedge did not. I agree that iOS got the better end of that deal, but we haven't gotten anything since and now android gets an event we don't, packs to get that event toon to seven stars, and that Shoretrooper pack. Android is ahead right now-- I hope CG has something good in store for us.

Some of the other replies have already done a good job comparing what each has got in this game. But outside this game, apple users got a $2000 discover/apple-pay promo, while android users got an android pay promo that was worth something like $20 (don't remember the exact details). Nothing they could possibly give away in this game trumps that, so I have a hard time feeling bad for ios users. And K-2SO's specs/abilities aren't even that great.

God forbid we just have a game were playing the game is what influences the game and not what phone company paid extra money to a game developer, or how much extra do we give people that paid X amount + are on the phone that paid the right amount. This is why gaming in general is total trash today and nothing but companies taking advantage of people addicted to micro-transactions.

I mean I get it this is about as Pay To Win as you can get but this is a new level of stupid.
