I'll concede that you see it here more often because this site is populated with mostly sheltered white boys, but we all need to remember that this shit is everywhere. Reddit is hardly exceptional.

But, goddamn it, why are white people allowed to run the fucking internet? This is NOT how it was supposed to be!

I distinctly remember all the bullshit people bandied about during the 1990's about how the Internet would erase prejudices and bring people together!

Same thing as real life: the Internet is just the real world online, and just as in the real world, minority voices get shouted down and violently repressed.
