Why Women Go For Assholes

The myth that women go for assholes is widely spread and that's got its reasons.

One thing beforehand: Of course - and I am probably talking for nearly all women here - we do not like to be treated badly. Discrimination, let alone violence, is a no-go in any interpersonal relationship, especially if the physically weaker is the one attacked.

Marriage - if that is even the particular woman's wish - we want with prince charming. Prince charming is characterized by being loyal, good looking, protecting and loving, will make for a good father and can fix and set everything right.

So why do women go for assholes?

We love to conquer passively. To bewitch. We want to be liked. Paradoxically a man is many times more interesting, if he pretends to not be interested in us too much. The bad boy image is sexy. Even as a little girl I fell in love with the villains and not the superheroes.

Because assholes - or better: bad boys - are experienced. They have experienced things and aren't in need of waddling behind a women. They are well-build, overly confident, take what they want and know exactly what we want. Bad boys do not live by the rules, create ones by and for themselves, oftentimes come off a little bit arrogant, especially if they are attractive. This attractiveness opens doors. We know that possible competitors desire him as well and long for his validation.

His validation is the push for our ego.

Furthermore we have a natural instinct, which leaves us in the misbelief, to be able, as opposed to out competitors, to break the hard core and to save the prince charming behind the sexy facade. The majority of us aren't as naiv as that anymore though and know that it is a futile attempt. Even if a guy with asshole-like traits will comply and commit to a serious relationship, he will sooner or later be caught between the thighs of another one.

He is living dangerously, smokes, loves the nightlife, drinks, drives a big Harley and loves no women besides his mother, which most probably spoiled him until his 25th birthday. It has got a pornous (is that a word? the translator) impact, to sit behind him - the humming motorcycle between the legs, driving with topspeed on the motorway - having the arms wrapped around his jacked chest.

The asshole is really good in bed and knows it as well. If he for example is in a relationship and you are the one who is used to cheat with, you better not believe that he will stay faithful to a possible new relationship. He won't and that's what makes for the asshole.

I claim that every women gets into one of these men at least once in her life. A holiday club animator, a bouncer, a barkeeper, or a businessman. A man who knows how to dress and act in order to get off, and is acting strategically for it. A man who's got the intuition to know what's morally right or condemnable but is widely ignoring it.

That's what gives him the ability to give us everything - and we sense that.

Such players will barely get in touch, what makes the feeling if they do it even better. If they don't get back at all, you have to let go. They are great as long as we are holding the reins and are able to let go in time. Interesting for a limited time, good for the ego, nice on pictures and superb in bed.

Women go for assholes. For good sex, for long nights, for fun, for danger and for looking up to him.

If you are the type of man, who isn't looking for the woman of your life, but is looking to get as far as possible with as many as possible, you should not give up the good things which make for you, but be concentrating more on yourself - on what you want and what you enjoy.
