It's kind of like Moby Dick except with a paedophile instead of an angry sailor. More controversial than Catcher in the Rye (in the 60s) and Tom Sawyer (currently the versions that say nigger and get banned ). It's also a good book and classic literature written by a controversial Russian in exile. What's not to love?

There was a good video that I can't find right now about examining the Lolita covers. Some were creepy, some seemed to glorify paedophilia, some hid the subject matter, and some had the subtlety of a brick house.
