TL;DR AT THE END, SORRY I CANT WRITE CONCISELY
Oh boy, what a fun morning.
It began with the front-page thread earlier in /r/UncensoredNews about "white hate crimes" being omitted from liberal media.
I responded to a comment by a moderator that was "defending" his sub from a comment calling it "shit" and "the Donald 2.0." (The harshest of it aside from maybe "circlejerk" as well.) The moderator, however, at a fairly tame comment responded with over-aggression by saying things like "most of the cunts that lament your views are not sufficiently reflected in this place" and "Fuck off to some other place."
Now, perhaps a little aggressive myself with it being early, mid-finals, and pre-coffee, responded with: "What a fucking piece of shit mod. I screenshotted to report you for sure, however much good that will do." Now, I didn't mind the swearing or aggressiveness all so much, as I get defensive easily as well. Instead, it was that a moderator was saying such things and setting that as the standard behavior in the community. (To be fair, he informed me later Mods there are untagged and asked to behave like the average user; Still not a good example to set, though.)
Of course, comments ensue, and it continues as just the two of us with no other characters entering the picture. Here is a link to the very beginning of the comment thread, which you can look at now and read through yourselves, or follow with the rest of this self-post for at least my perspective. (And the moderator in question of course, since I messaged him a link to the post in order to encourage both sides of the story to write their view.)

Conveniently, you may notice, the first page of comments are all before any real conversation about politics and policy begin. (And, in votes, lean to his favor.) However, I encourage you all to read down the entire chain or at least the last few pieces, though I know it's fairly long. The BEST part of it all comes next though.
During an exchange about Mexican immigration, refugees, and islamaphobia, he decides to make me a few bets about the accuracy of my statements. Now, I will say, there were two points I wish I hadn't commented what I did. One was the "Dont be a racist" presidential clause earlier, since he spun that to mean something else, and the other was me being dumb and writing "wants to deport many Muslims based on their religion" instead of "wants to deny immigration to many Muslims based on their religion." He made a bet that if I couldn't find a quote in 24 hours saying DT wants to deport Muslims, I would be tagged "'I am a massive retard and G_Petronius is my daddy'." (If I won, he'd ban himself for 24 hours. Rofl.) I called it a laughable and stupid bet, and moved on...

Now we get to Syrian refugees. While the point of my ideas on refugees were completely different, the moderator gets stuck on an extremely unsubstantial part of my comment about how countries that did receive Jews during WWII, did not send them back into into dangerous territory and almost certain death. He makes another bet. (And a third bet in our private messages, maybe has a gambling problem? Lol.) This time "the bet is show that Syrian refugees from the UNHRC resettlement program are at risk of being forced back into Syria. The loser gets a permanent 'RETARD' flair on this subreddit. Ready? go!" Woohoo!!

Many of you probably already know that Trump said, almost verbatim aside from the UNHRC Clause, (which is still implied in his quote) exactly that. Of course, the logical response was to link an article to his quote along with a sassy quip. (I chose "Grab yourself a flair, bitch." Could have done better, oh well.)
However, this seems to be another gathering place of The_Swampers, and as you all know there is not a chance the moderator would concede his defeat in the bet he proposed and I took him up on. He squiggles, squirms, and weasels all he can even though I gave multiple sources (including Brietbart) that contain his August, 31st 2016 speech at a Trump Rally where he legitimately and objectively said: "Anybody that's brought into this country from the migration is going to be out". In mental gymnastics that I am still yet to understand, he chooses to say that "To try and support it [my argument], you quoted Trump saying he was thinking of building a safe zone in Syria. 'Safe zone' and 'potentially be murdered by the extremists they have no protection from' are antithetical concepts. You took, then lost the challenge." Unfortunately I still don't understand how he thinks an entirely different quote from that speech can be freely exchanged with the one I used.
Regardless he proceeds to, almost immediately after my four sources including an alt-right one, put the "RETARD" flair on me as if he had won without even reading my response. (I know he did read it, just a figure of speech.) For the next part it's important to add that, through an hour+ long conversation, some of my responses were in 2-3 messages since I thought of new ideas later and was laughed at for editing comments for grammar in that same exact thread. They were all substantial and reasonable responses which the Moderator had no problem with for the first hour or so. Even did the same thing himself on occasion. (I could have edited comments, but in the exact same thread I was mocked just doing so for grammar. Can link proof on request, just takes some digging.)
HERE'S THE SUPER FUN AND INTERESTING PART!
After being proven wrong in his viewpoint, a moderator of /r/UncensoredNews, which is proud of allowing all opinions including those outside the popular ideology, decides to "trick" (I use quotes since I purposefully took the bait just to rustle his already jimmied feathers) me into breaking suddenly breaking the rules for a ban. The conversation about him losing (or, in his mind, winning) the bet suddenly stopped, and he asked me to "limit your mental diarrhea to one reply per comment. There is the edit function for when you want to add something to a reply. Thank you." Mind you that 1.) he is basically saying that my political viewpoint is equal to spam, which rides directly counter with the subs values and 2.) The sidebar says that "users whose sole activity on the subreddit is to try to disrupt its functioning or harass other users, *without contributing anything to the discussion of the topic at hand*, will be shown the door." Now, it is arguable whether I was contributing to the conversation at hand or now, but my comments were all objectively substantial and subjectively relevant.
Of course.... Of COURSE my response was "No" in the first comment, followed by a quick "Thanks", in the second. (I genuinely have no idea how else a person is supposed to respond to that...?) This obviously led to me getting banned, which was his entire point of warning me to keep everything in one message (unlike him): Finding a way to circumvent the "we don't ban for dissent" policy of the sub.

Now, I'm no psychologist, but he seemed quite short and upset in his responses up to the ban. In fact, the ban took place nearly a few minutes after he was proven wrong. It almost seemed as though he banned me for being proven wrong, not because I was "spamming" him. Even further, when I responded to the private message about receiving the ban, calling it ridiculous, he instantly mutes me for 72 hours. (I'm assuming so that I cannot message the other mods about his power-trip.) Here is an imgur link to that exchange: http://imgur.com/a/YsIEc (Sorry, I'm bad at technology and don't know how to not just screenshot the whole page lol)
TL;DR
In a subreddit (/r/UncensoredNews) that takes pride for being an uncensored space of contrasting and conflicting opinions to be openly shared without censorship, one of their moderators engaged in a conversation about politics with such confidence in his opinions that he offered a bet in favor of them on multiple occasions. Within minutes of being proven objectively and decisively wrong, however, he stretches the category for "spam" as wide as he possibly can before using it to ban me and slither off to a safe space where his incorrect and falsifiable statements are touted on a silver platter of ignorance.
While it is meaningless, and there is literally no real goal of this post, I thought it would be a fun opportunity to journey through and observe, step by step, the process of thin-skinned conservative hypocrisy.
Thanks for reading! Sorry to write so much -- I'm sure you can only imagine how much my professors fucking hate my writing shenanigans. (Page limits to me are merely page suggestions. Lol.)
P.S. If any of you would like to see the private messages between us I can screenshot those too (though they're not relevant at all, just me telling him he's being reported for abusing his power, he can post them if they he deems them as so), and am happy to provide any other information from my end to feed curiosities!
