About a year ago /u/doesnt_like_pants started the who are you guys thread.Since then the sub has grown a lot and we have had a lot of new regulars here.Also there has been fuck all in the news lately,so I thought now would be a nice time to have a second version of this thread.

Since I am lazy as fuck here is the concept of the thread in /u/doesnt_like_pants words:

So I've browsing this sub for over a year now and contribute semi-regularly. I really do like this place and it's nice seeing the same users pop up in discussions. However, as a community, we're obviously all individually anonymous. I know that's the way quite a few users like it but I'd be curious to know a little bit more about some of the users on the sub. Maybe your ages, what you do for a living, where in the world you are etc.?

My apologies if this idea isn't welcomed, I understand a lot of you probably won't like it, I'm just curious about the people I spend a good amount of time discussing footy with but have no idea who they are!

        My house was raided on the 2nd of June 2012, had a kilo of weed and 12,800 cash plus bags & scales etc. The justice system here seems to be pretty slow so it's going to be October at the earliest for sentencing. It hasn't been a pleasant few years

        I'm in a city called Limerick on the west coast of Ireland. I'm looking at anything up to 3 years but there's a possibility of a suspended sentence which would basically be probation.

        Hard to know how it's going to go but took some steps to try make it as hopeful as possible - do monthly drug tests on my own accord, volunteer, went teaching in China for 6 months, help out with training for my team's youth squads.

        Wasn't really making much tbh, was smoking a good 5 grams a day which ate in to it and was paying ridiculous prices (was not doing it for my own benefit - threats and pressure....but that's a whole other long story)

        5 grams a day? I'm 33, smoke weed everyday and 5 grams can last me a month on a normal schedule. Back when I was in school, I smoked 5 grams in approximately 4 days, and that was a really blurry year. Anyway, I really hope you get nothing serious.

        Anywhere between 8k and 10k(in euros), I was paying full street value per ounce which worked out at 12600, again it wasn't my choice. If I was doing it for myself I'd have a lot of money and a lot less regrets

        Hope you're doing well without the high my friend. We all need help at times. I've been smoking up everyday for two years, couldn't take the fact that my mom passed due to cancer last year. But with friends and family, you'll slowly realise there's more to life.

                      Yeah definitely would. Even whilst you're studying I'd recommend starting a blog, even under a pseudonym at first if need be, just to get used to writing as you go.

                      My more successful journalist friends started writing for fun way before they finished their qualifications.
