Here are the top posts there in the last 24 hours, not filtered, just the most voted posts. No, /r/pizzagate did not die, it just jumped to a new location.
They are now over there encouraging each other to "keep digging" and "keep our investigation going"-- did reddit admin not learn from the Boston Massacre. When these genius internet detectives go to work, people get hurt. In the case of this pizzagate hogwash it's already led to plenty of harassment and now a nutjob shooting an AR in a family restaurant. Whether or not he was from reddit can't be said, but it's entirely he was encouraged by people on this website to "investigate."
What happened yesterday, I have said many times that the_donald's insanity would spill out IRL at some point, and be this website's undoing. While we don't know his full story yet, what happened yesterday happened because of reddit. This site did (and continues to) allow discussions about this topic, and now it is causing trauma to real people.
It will not take much more for this website to be known as where psychos get their mission plans from. Perhaps even, eventually, where a movement of sinister proportions was born, and went on to do considerable damage to the fundamental tenets of America. So far I have been correct in guessing that T_D would spill out in to real life, so I have no compunction in supposing we may be witnessing the birth of a new movement, the nature of which I fear to even guess.
And if that comes to be, it will be, in part, reddit's fault. Already people are having guns pointed at them because of this website's admin's cowardice -- will they do something if next time the trigger is pulled?
