In a recent BP reddit post here, wondering what made the red pill so popular, someone pointed out that the subreddit only has 160,000 subscribers out of billions of people.

Which leads me to my inquiries:

If every guy on earth - ok, let's just say every guy in a 1st world country - saw and looked through the RP subreddit, how many of them do you think would subscribe then?

It's true that place has 160,000 subs out of billions of people, but I'd argue a more relevant question is how many guys secretly (or not so secretly) agree with this stuff and would unleash their inner thoughts when bumping into this ideology?

The real issue is how many guys in total buy into this stuff.

I'm afraid that number may not be too small...

The other (scarier) way to look at it: there are 30,000 BP subscribers to 160,000 RP subscribers. Is it possible they may actually outnumber us by as much as 5 to 1?

That's assuming that all of those people who are subscribed are actual Twerps. A portion of them are subbed for the reason TBP goes there. Some of them will have unsubbed, but the sub counter doesn't go down. And then there are also all of the different alts and sockpuppet accounts that people use so they don't leave a "paper trail".

The likelihood that you meet a literal twerp off of reddit is incredibly low. But you may meet some misogynistic jerks. I've said it before, I'll say it again: Not every jerk out there is a twerp.
