I'd rather just stick it out with Mourinho.

Can we give the Fire Mou type threads a rest? He wont be sacked this year, probably not next year either.

The thread should really be "Which respectable manager really wants to manage Man U". I am sure not many would. Too much pressure and the board expects instant results to keep commercial interests alive. Its not an easy job.

I don't know, all the armchair redditor managers on here sounds like they know what to do. I think we could do a good job.

Shut the fuck up mate

A bit unnecessary.

What? If results don't I improve these are possible scenarios I was just curious what people thought I didn't mean to attack mourinho or anyone else

To answer your question - No one that would be worthwhile. Pretty much every world-class manager is spoken for at this moment and the instability it would cause to the club to sack a 3rd boss in 3 years would be catastrophic.

I personally hope Mourinho gets at very least another season even if we fail to make the Top 4. The results haven't been going our way fair enough, but the quality of the football is actually very good.

The margin between wins and draws in our recent tough spell have been incredibly fine. In fairness, we also dominated most of the matches and could have been in far stronger contention had certain things fell our way.

It is rather ridiculous that after 4 months in charge we are seriously debating his future already, but I firmly believe Jose could be a huge success at Manchester United if he is given time.

We won't. Some of us accept that and are more than happy to give him that extra year, at least.

If he doesn't make it next year, then he's in trouble with most. On paper it says we've made 2 CL appearances in what would be 5 seasons? I think.

This title thread literally says hypothetically. It's definitely not seriously debating. It's meaningless conversing when bored.

I'd like to pry Tuchel away from Dortmund regardless of the status with Mou. IMO, he's the next great manager in the world football.

Really? Or are you just following the flavor of the week?

Fuck sake I am so god damn sick of these shit posts

Available - No one.. might as well give it to me. Completely pointless sacking him unless:

Available - Ancelotti. Even then, I'd still rather revamp than sack the manager first.

[–]Reddevil077 2ポイント3ポイント  (5子コメント)

Ancelotti is terrible league wise. I hate that a lot of people bring him up. The man only won the league 3 times in his whole career, let that sink in. But I agree with the revamp, that is very much needed.

[–]House_Of_LannisterAnd who are you...? -2ポイント-1ポイント  (4子コメント)

How many times has Mou won the league buddy? In his career?

[–]Reddevil077 1ポイント2ポイント  (3子コメント)

He's won it seven times buddy.

[–]House_Of_LannisterAnd who are you...? -1ポイント0ポイント  (2子コメント)

Exactly. Has that made the slightest difference? No.

The question asked hypothetically. And hypothetically Ancelotti is by far the best candidate for this club. He is a winner, attracts names and plays good attacking football. Might not have the best league record - but would it actually be worse than what it is now? Unimaginable...

[–]Reddevil077 0ポイント1ポイント  (1子コメント)

I mean don't get me wrong i like the guy but he's for clubs ready to take the next step which is European success, that's why Real and Bayern hired him. We're not there yet so at the moment he's not the perfect candidate.

[–]House_Of_LannisterAnd who are you...? -1ポイント0ポイント  (0子コメント)

Lol... I mean, that is literally textbook Mourinho.. taking teams from good to great. Ancelotti is the man people usually go onto for short periods to maintain a high level of play.

Given we can't actually get to that high level of play, I would be willing to take a punt and see if he just fits here.

If you knew anything about our history in the 70's you'd know we went through multiple managers in 10 years and it took longer than that, after the spell of Ron Atkinson in the 80's for us to actually see our measly 3rd piece of silverware in over 15 years.

Obviously then along came SAF... I.e - The right fit.

It happens... an amazing coach can be at a club and it just not work. Shit happens.

Nobody. We already exhausted the managerial excuse to justify this mess now.

Players have hell to pay now.

Ryan Giggs is the perfect candidate to play football the Busby Way IMO
