About 30M records have NULL in all columns except City, Zip and birthdate Unless you are from a small town, the City + birthdate does not mean much. Also, it could easily be a random made-up value.

About 2M records with Full name, Address, zip, phone number, birthdate. These folks are screwed

          It really depends on what state you practice in.

          • Community property state (there are 9). These divorces can't generate too much money for attorneys because the marital estate is simply divided in half. If the parties can't agree how to do so the judge can split the baby however they see fit and that's the end of it.

          • Equitable distribution states with clear and well established laws. This scenario favors the wife's attorney as they can take a cut of whatever they manage to get out of the estate. Husband's attorney is going to get paid by the hour to help him avoid getting ripped off too badly. The first is inherently more lucrative.

          • Equitable distribution state with really murky and unclear law (say like Florida). In this situation it's in the attorneys' best interest to drag the proceedings out as long as possible as they bleed the estate dry with fees. If they're cooperative enough neither the wife's or the husband's attorney will necessarily make a lot more than the other. Honor among thieves and all.

          Simply anecdotal, but my girlfriend's father was a divorce attorney and from what he said, that shit drains you. A lot of the husbands would show up at his office and ream him out when they got cleaned out in divorces (not that there was a whole lot he could do in a lot of cases). Divorces get downright nasty, and the kids get the blunt end of it. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job.
