Patience is required that's for sure ... we look a much better team than last season that's a given but boy!! these kind of games just saps all the fucking energy off you

He sets the team up well but his subs are absolutely cowardly and costing us points.

A Fergie team would absolutely go on to win that game at 1-1 by making a positive change and going for the jugular. You will never catch Ferguson defend a 1-1 or a 1-0 vs midtable shite like Everton. Ever.

The amount of 1-0's we won under Fergie was ridiculous lol, he definitely did make defensive subs. He'd always sacrifice another striker for a midfielder. Just simple fact that our squad is not good enough.

I'm sorry? Our squad is absolutely good enough to win at Goodison.

Don't talk sense mate; the moronic yanks are up now.

So United isn't better than Everton? United's current team structure is a mid table team? Really? Why the fuck did we spend 200m over the summer then if we are a mid table team?

Are you on the WUM?

We hardly ever won loads of games 1-0 under Fergie. The one season we did that, we were locked in a deadly title race with Liverpool and had the best defence in world football(So we were good at holding leads). There is a difference in holding leads when you are top of the table and another when you are fucking midtable and need points lol

He'd always sacrifice another striker for a midfielder.

Oh fuck off, now I know you are 100% a WUM. He usually put 4 strikers on the pitch and went all out. We were 2-0 down to Tottenham in 2009 and we put Berbatov, Tevez, Ronaldo and Rooney all on the pitch and we battered them.

Midtable shite are a lot better than they were a few years ago.

Yes you would. Especially in his last few years. The problem is placing your trust in players like fucking fellaini. Clumsy as a one legged juggler. Compare him to someone like makelele or matic. He isn't fit to lick their boots.

Please give me an example of Ferguson sitting back cowardly against a midtable team with 5 mins to go?

Hernandez was the go to guy for Fergie not a fucking useless Ent.

2010 sunderland which ended a goalless draw, 2011 against tottenham same. In fact 2011 we went 6 months with just 3 away victories.

Can't be too rash - at the end of the day it's his first season. But it's not been promising at all and severely underwhelming. At the beginning of the season we were being touted as favourites to win the league, but he's shown nothing to suggest he's capable of taking us there. His stats since the beginning of his final season with Chelsea make for bleak reading and it doesn't seem to look like that's changing any time soon.

But at the end of the day, we can't go sacking him after 6 months in charge. There needs to be a significant upturn in performances and form but I honestly don't see it happening.

It's Pep's first season too. Same with Conte. They're doing much better and in a new league for them

What I meant by that is that we can't go sacking him after 6 months. It's not like we're in a relegation fight and his presence seemed to be a significant factor in a lot of the players we signed this summer (Ibra, Pogba etc). We're already in choppy waters and we don't want to rock the boat any more

Two championship winning squads though. Big difference.

Mou's been subpar. I think there's a battered manager syndrome going on for United fans. We just got away from LVG who played boring football and didn't get the results in the end. Now we have Mou, and the football looks better, but we're still not getting results. Ultimately though, the football still doesn't look that great. It's better than LVG football, but it's still not top 4 type football. He's benched players like Shaw, Mkhi, Mata, Martial, and others and cites that they aren't performing like they should, yet he continues to play Fellaini who has never performed good. His subs have been terrible and not tactical. He's parking the bus when United get a goal when they should continue to put the foot on the gas pedal.

TL;DR: Mou's been just as poor as some of the player's performances. He has to improve.

Underperforming massively with the squad he has, worrying signs of controversy, cowardly tactics and substitutions, seeming lack of charisma. Got the team playing better than we've seen since Fergie but it doesn't matter if you don't get the results. Not time to think about sacking him yet but he needs to stop repeating the same fucking mistakes and learn. If not he will go long before the 3 years.

He has zero excuses not to produce any goals. He got every big signing that he wanted this summer. He got Pogba, the best midfielder in Seria A season 2015-2016. He got Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the best player in Bundesliga 2015- 2016. Booth players capable of producing a lot of possibilities for the other big fucking signing Zlatan, who scored 38 goal for PSG last year. There is on such thing as bad luck. The game plan is not working and the plan to defend a 1 – 0 lead is embarrassing for a team that spend £ 157 m in 2016 and £ 124 m in 2015. Fuck me

Doesn't even look like he's enjoying himself anymore. Where's his personality gone? He looks absolutely miserable.

Yeah he looks really depressed and tired all the time. He's been that way ever since he left Real Madrid for some reason.

For some reason?

He is, IMO, clinically depressed. I called it when he was at Chelsea, he has mental issues (always has) and I can recognise it cos' I have OCD too.

Just so frustrated by him, atm. His substitutions have made no sense, and the logic to bring in holding midfielders is suspect given that we're thereby inviting more pressure onto our defense, which we can all admit is not our strong suit as a team. We're not his old Chelsea teams that were stout defensively. He needs to get it through his head that we need more goals over the course of play before we can shut up shop. And if we only have a one-goal lead in the closing stages, we need to continue to keep possession with attack-minded players so that we don't invite pressure. Should have brought Mata on today instead of Fellaini.

just as i expected from a manager who got sacked to avoid relegation

[–]DailyBlindOur God and Savior Daley 0

No qualms about how we're playing but I'll be critical of his squads. He should've come in and been absolutely ruthless. Gutted the shite and kept the ones that can make a difference. By not doing so he's given himself a headache and a problem by having to rotate the players. Would've been a clear sign to the players staying that performing well is the only way they'll survive.

He needs to start being merciless towards players who fail him on a consistent basis. If I were him, I would outright ban Fellaini out of the squad like he did for Schweinsteiger earlier.

Needs to do a lot better.

Everyone in this sub is hating his subs right now. Can you stop asking the obvious and gtfo?

One of the worst performing managers in the league.

Top four is as many points away from us as 15th is, we are closer to last place than to 1st, this is with all the money he spent, the players we got, and we are over a third way through the season now.

If we need to spend hundreds of millions for worse results and slightly better football on average.... whats he good for?

If we don't get top four with the money we've spent he should be fired immediately.
