0' We're underway! Ibrahimovic gets us kicked off! United in red, Everton in blue!

5' Everton have started well and have flashed the ball across goal a few times but United have regained control and are starting to impose themselves.

10' Barry avoids a booking for a very hard tackle on Ibra, and United are back underway. We've been playing well with good passing and a few good chances that have been ruled off for offside.

15' United have a corner that was taken short and then swung in with pace but it's been cleared by Everton and the usual rhythm of the game resumes.

16' MANCHESTER UNITED YELLOW CARD Rojo jumps in two-footed on a loose ball and he's immensely lucky to avoid a red card there. Shocking tackle.

21' The game is started to become a bit heated with some hard challenges and cynical fouls being committed. The tempo has increased quite a bit.

26' Everton are looking brighter now and have created some good chances. The latest was Bolasie whipping a dangerous ball across the six yard box but it was too far away from Mirallas to tap in.

31' EVERTON YELLOW CARD Barry finally gets booked for his third clear foul.

31' United had a free kick earlier that was a good chance just outside the box but Ibra smacked it straight into the wall. Neither goalkeeper has had to make a proper save yet.

38' The game has slowed down substantially now with neither goalkeeper being challenged. Most of the possession is being kept and lost in the middle of the pitch.

42' MANCHESTER UNITED GOAL IBRAHIMOVIC SCORES! THE BALL IS PLAYED THROUGH OVER THE TOP AND STEKELENBERG COMES OFF HIS LINE AND IS LOBBED BY IBRA! THE BALL HITS THE CROSSBAR, THEN THE POST, BEFORE IT'S CONFIRMED AS A UNITED GOAL BY GOAL-LINE TECHNOLOGY.

I've been a bit disappointed with Carrick thus far. He has killed a few attacks by taking too many touches and playing some inaccurate passes. I understand he is liked for his ability to control the pace, but slowing it down and allowing Everton to get back isn't always the best. I'd like to see Blind come on for Carrick in the second half.

Nani wanted a penalty and put his arms around the ball. The referee didn't give a penalty so Gomes picked up the ball, placed it down and attempted to take a free kick. Mark Clattenburg never gave a free kick for Nani's handball though, so the ball was in play, Nani realised and scored that goal.
