So, here's the issue. I have a bestfriend (Girl), which we have been friends for about 2 years now but haven't became super close/bestfriends until this past August. Well, I also have another friend (boy), that I have also known for about 2-3 years but we started "talking" in October. Well, turns out that the relationship with him won't work, just because he doesn't have time for one.. but wants the benefits of a relationship. So, with that being said, he wants "friends with benefits" type of thing & has had them in the past. He has friends that he sometimes has 'casual sex' with. Whatever, not my style. So, we continued to be just friends & what not. But, recently rekindled the fire... if that makes sense? We have discussed furthering our friendship again & yada yada. Well, okay. The problem here is that, while she was showing me messages from another guy to her, I see MY guy in her inbox. I didn't say a word or acknowledge that I saw it.. & neither did she. But, she hadn't opened his message yet.. but it said "Are you doing okay????" just like that. I didn't see the date or time or anything but it was more recent than the messages she was originally showing me. So, my issue is.. should I be more upset about her not telling me the guy I've been talking to/seeing is in her inbox messaging her, just the same way as he did to me when we started talking, or be more mad at him for being a fuckboy & hitting up my bestfriend AS he's talking to/seeing me? Am I over exaggerating? Should I say to hell with both of them? Should I drop her for not telling me or be happy she didn't even open his message in the first place? I can't see anything before that message so do I have the right to assume they have had previous conversations? If a guy she was talking to/seeing inboxed me, I would have immediately told her, whether there was any harm or not.. Am I expecting too much as a friend from her? Am I being over exaggerate on his end, since he literally did only ask if she was doing okay?
