Best cloud based ide (self.MGTOW)

I've been out of IT for 8 years. Used to be java web Sql developer.

I want to get back into the swing and want to be machine independent.

It seems the cloud ides are coming to fruition and I know my fellow mgtow are all about this shit.

What's the skinny, boys?

How about GIT + stay on 'machined' editor? Notepad++ with addons for wondoze, Geany for Linux, not Mac-ed so dunno there. Git makes/keeps you 'mobile'.
