LVG played dominant football

I'm sorry - were we watching the same club?

He had some bad luck with injuries

Yes. But his issues were compounded by his decision to thin the squad without bringing in sufficient replacements. Note how many injuries we've had this season, too? Yet we have defensive cover despite both Bailly and Smalling being out, for example. It's nice, isn't it?

he still managed to get FA CUP.

Yup. And he was applauded for it. However, you're dense if you think United's goal should be to win the FA Cup. We want PL titles and Champion's League trophies. The FA Cup is nice, but it isn't exactly the goal.

Somehow we ended up like Chelsea

Chelsea were near in a relegation battle last season. We're not - and we're actually playing some enjoyable football. True, the points aren't there yet - but there's been more promise shown this season than any since SAF retired.

We screwed our legend Ryan Giggs

How? By not hiring a man with no experience as the 1st team manager of any PL club, or any other club, for that matter? Again, don't be dense.

you gloryhunting cunts.

Well, that's just mean and uncalled for.

There is no sufficient cover for 12 injuries at the same time with 2 sets of FBs being part of that

I see you defending LVG around here all the time. Now I did like him and was on board until near enough the end, I like possession based football so was willing to go through it and didn't find some of it as boring as a lot of others did. But did you really think that we "controlled" games?

Or did other teams "control the ball" without possession of it. The more it went on and the more I look back on it, the more I think that we were never really in control of games. The opposition nearly always controlled where the ball was so I think it's fair to say that actually they controlled the ball. We had possession but I don't think we controlled the ball. We were allowed to have it. When we went 1 up the other team often changed completely and pressed us into mistakes and giving the ball away. I remember so many times crying out that we could keep the ball all day but in the last 10 minutes when it would have been really effective to keep the ball, we couldn't do it. When the opposition were happy to let us have the ball in safe areas they let us have it and when they wanted it back themselves they took it back. They controlled the ball and where it was most of the time.

LVG was a good manager and I appreciate what he was trying to do. But I do think that progress seemed to halt and it was probably the right decision to part ways. But what do you think on that, as a die hard LVG fan, about ball possession and who's actually controlling the game?

Ask Barcelona.

LVG keep the squad thin, because he trust our academy. Mourinho will never bring Rash, CBJ, Varela, TFM......

Ask Barcelona.

You should keep posting this. Twice isn't enough. It is again dense to say "OOH! BUT PEP HAD SUCCESS!" as the marker for an argument that a former player with no 1st team managerial experience will find success in his first stint as a manager. To use your logic: Ask G. Neville.

Mourinho will never bring Rash, CBJ, Varela, TFM

Not until they're ready, no.

Also - Rashford is a bad example for your argument. He's made 10 appearances in the PL so far this season.

Further, CBJ and Varela were rightly sent out on loan. They need experience, and are understandably lower in the pecking order behind Shaw, Darmian, Valencia, etc. As for TFM, he made 8 appearances last season - a season that you yourself describe as "injury plagued." It's not exactly as though he was a regular starter. Or do you believe he deserves to start over Carrick, Herrera, Schneiderlin, Pogba, etc.?

dude just stfu, i bet you wrote the same bullshit under van gaal.....the state of the club is as a result of different factors, not because of how we are playing.....the current philosophy if you wanna call it that is good....we dont have luck on our side and again, we just dont have a starting 11....Carrick made us better, and cause of his absence we suffered against westham, Jose is at fault in a way but not as much as youre making it to be. His biggest fuck up was not finding a good natural CDM, which is needed for this his never changing formation. If you wanna be critical then be but in a respectful manner, this your post isnt and i believe you should shut up and go support some other club or go find LVG in his paradise and enjoy some mince pie while he jerks you off

do you really want to risk it and give it to giggs who have 0 experience?

giggs shouldve taken the swansea job

The play that I'm watching looks far better than the product LVG put out there. Once the goals start coming from the shots we are getting it will change. This seems like a pretty bad over reaction which is common on this board.

Going by his/her post history, it also seems like a troll

[–]reizo77[S] -1ポイント0ポイント  (0子コメント)

Shots are not everything and dont forget the 1st season under LVG, was really good.

Your profile is two years old and yet you only have handfull of posts and negative karma. Which means you're probably a shitty troll.

If you want to make a point and start discussion don't go around calling people cunts and whatnot. It doesn't make you look bright and you're just gonna annoy people.

[–]reizo77[S] 0ポイント1ポイント  (2子コメント)

Well, this sub is full of cunts aplauding mourinho being shitty and destroying our club. So yeah, cunts.

[–]krelmAndy Cole 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Calm down, son.

Maybe you're the cunt. Just because people disagree with your bullshit post doesn't mean they are cunts.

[–]anterax 1ポイント2ポイント  (1子コメント)

Why don't you direct this to the club? It's not like the supporters that liked him, hired him.

[–]jordangriffin1 1ポイント2ポイント  (4子コメント)

There's no need to be so sensationalist about it, you're going way over the top. Just chill. Mourinho will win leagues at this club.

(Don't pretend that you enjoyed van Gaal's time at the club, either.)

preparing the team for Ryan Giggs

Are you a stand up comedian by any chance? Pretty funny, actually.

I agree that we did get some good results against the top teams with LVG but we also lost to the teams we should easily be beating not to mention how bad we did in the Champions league.

LVG had us playing the most boring football I have ever seen, yes it got us results against big team but if we can't win a match in the whole of December en we aren't going to get anywhere. So many games last season we should have won and we didn't. You can't be drawing 3-3 against Newcastle.

This is pretty true. I mean the play under Moyesey sure wasn't great - but man, if that 81 cross match against Fulham wasn't at least amusing in a sad/comical way.
