I was thinking about who my favourite player in the current squad and settled with Ander Herrera. Who do you guys like most?

DDG. Was my favorite signing when we brought him in. I was also 19 at the time so I was just in awe that someone my age was being brought in to be 1st choice keeper at my favorite club.

Wayne Rooney and Valencia. I grew up with Rooney's marvels, and Valencia because he's 100% what Manchester United is all about.

Rooney is the reason I started watching Manchester United and soccer. There have been some rough patches with him but he will always be my favorite.

Same here, first time watching a european side, was amazed by the way Manchester United played, just a lot of energy and the players were bombing up and down the field. Rooney stood out for me and since that match I have been following the team.

And right now I don't have only one favourite, I like Rooney, Mata, Valencia and Ander.

I feel too old to have a favourite player anymore.

I'm 27. Growing up there was Giggs, Scholes, Keane etc. I looked up to them.

I don't feel that level of adoration to any player anymore.

Idk, I kind of feel the same way. I'm only 21, and the only player that I looked up to in our current team is Rooney.

It would be hard for me to look up to someone like Pogba when he's only 2 years older than me. Not to mention, I feel like it's kind of hard to replace Scholesy

Scholesy was. Id have to say Ander is now. Just the passion he shows toward the club and genuinely looks disappointed after a match. Ya hes not the world beater but he makes up for it in passion.

Gotta say Herrera right now for the way he talks about the club. His passion, frustration and desire reminds me of the passionate players we've had in years gone by. Big fan of the likes of Pogba, Zlatan etc but seeing their smiling selfies after a frustrating draw rubs me the wrong way.
