ARK's Core is configured to produce ultra fast transaction speeds approaching 200 transactions per minute. With scaling, higher throughput is possible.
DECENTRALIZED
ARK provides a more decentralized voting system than other DPoS consensus models. Voting weight is divided across all votes instead of assigning 100% weight to each vote, making it nearly impossible for a takeover of the entire network.
BRIDGING
ARK aims to bridge well known blockchain technologies through the use of SmartBridges, thus achieving hyper-connectivity.
SUSTAINABLE
The ARKShield program provides an extra layer of protection to ARK. A professionally managed Sustainability and Contingency Fund or ARKShield, will provide stable funding throughout development.
ARK ROADMAP
Project Ark consists of five phases of development to be sequentially deployed over the next two years. Each phase is constructed upon the foundation of the prior, with the endgame being an integrated ecosystem designed for ease of use and wide spread mass adoption.
1. Atlas – ARK Token Exchange Campaign(ARK-TEC)
Starting Monday, November 7th and lasting till Sunday, December 11th 2016 with minimum threshold to start set at 2000 BTC.

Head of Development
François-xavier is a full stack developer (MetorJS and Grails) and has primarily served as scientific officer for the European Union architecting the use of satellite observation for maritime surveillance, his work being referenced by European commission, NATO, Black Sea Commission and ESA. From 2010 he is consultant for different organisation to help them organize around data collection. He has also been the core developer of Lisk until august 2016.
Lars is in charge of our finance. With his experince to precisely calculate risks / costs on projects he is one of the head figures for growing ARK into a profitable ecosystem. Lars is currently working as cost estimator with projects ranging from $100,000 to $20,000,000+.
Chin is an Entrepreneur living in Northern California. Careers include an Online Medical Cannabis delivery service owner, Restaurant owner, 4 Years in the United States Marine Corps and 6 years in the United States Army providing Communications, Planning and Execution for top echelon exercises and operations. He has a wide range of interests from 90s Alternative music to Virtual/Mixed Reality future interactive systems and is always willing to be a helpful force within the community. Semper Fidelis.
Eric is head of NET Think AG, a small Swiss company serving as Think Tank for creation, realization and commercial use of innovative ideas and possibilities. He is a consultant, coordinator and coach for businesses, groups and individuals. As a head of ARK A-Lab his role is to guide the ideas of the highly creative and visionary ARK A-Lab team into directions which are realizable in the future. He is also TEC coordinating manager, directing 30 people from all over the world and all departments of the ARK ecosystem.
Mike sees digital currencies as a means to promote a fair, decentralized economy dates back to the late 90s. Blockchain technology enables networks which are owned by and controlled by the users. His background is in mechanical engineering from the aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer products industries. His goal is to extend the blockchain into the internet of things with open P2P physical networks for P2P autonomous delivery, securing personal and enterprise embedded devices, and delay and disruption tolerant mesh networking for terrestrial and space applications. Ark is a lean platform of bridged, nested blockchains ideal for these applications.
Travis is a crypto currency investor/trader/miner/podcast producer/website operator and all around crypto enthusiast. He has been involved in Bitcoin mining and trading since summer of 2013. Shortly after getting involved in crypto he built dontmine.com. It’s purpose was to help new people find bitcoin and spread awareness of bitcoin to the masses. While being a producer for a blockchain podcast, he helped produce podcast interviews for some well known figures in the crypto world, including Paul Snow of Factom and Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum. His day job consists of leading and managing large heavy metal manufacturing operations in the steel industry as a subsidiary of Metso Minerals. Previous job experience included being lead shipfitter for Fincantieri Marinette Marine, where he worked closely with the U.S. Navy and Lockheed Martin Engineers Building Combat ships for the DOD and U.S. Navy.
Scott is an Emergency Physician by training, but somewhere along the way he learned to do a million other things fairly well. Originally starting out in computer science, he has a Bachelors in Physics/Business of Music, Masters in Environmental Physiology, Doctor of Medicine and is a board certified Emergency Physician. He has been involved in cryptocurrency since 2014. Scott is fascinated by the blockchain world and thrilled to be asked to sit as an Ark board member. Prior to entering Medicine he was a recording studio/live sound engineer working with artists such as Montrose, Cold Sweat, 805, and Joe Bonamassa/Bloodline.
Rok is a computer engineer, and studies Information Systems in college. He became more involved in crypto technologies in 2015 with his first bought Bitcoin. He is a highly motivated person that has an extensive background in graphic design, SEO, marketing, branding,investing and is also highly organized and pragmatic with a keen eye for detail. He has an open door policy, and is always helping, listening, and providing his opinion on all matters.
Matthew is a creative thinker, entrepreneur, and lover of technology. Enamored with Bitcoin and other blockchain based cryptocurrencies, Matthew served as one of five co-founders of Crypti, the first Javascript based, fully open source blockchain technology. He has 16 years experience in various technical fields including radio theory, electrical engineering, and for the last 5 years, cyber security and incident handling. Matthew also has extensive experience in project management, writing, education, and creative direction.
