I've done a lot of time lapse photography of the stars... the rotation of the Earth is very evident... unless we are holding still and all the stars are rotating around us. How is this explained?

If the earth is flat what explains the tides?

Are there S.A.M. sites dedicated to keeping people from exploring the edges of the map?

The only thing IMO that's evident here is that the stars are moving around us. The motion of the earth has not been scientifically measured by anyone.

I don't know about that, I know people have gone missing. The antarctic is very inhospitable at the best of times. Also no one is allowed to just go there and have a look.

On the FE model the sun is much smaller and much closer. Not bright enough to light up the entire disc - only about half.

Why is water repelled by the moon? Couldn't a moon rock be used to show this on a smaller scale on Earth? The tides rise and fall without the water temperature changing... if it expanded to this extent I would feel it heat and cool during the course of a day.

think of a giant cookie. We are on the surface of that cookie. Maybe if you dig deep enough, you find that the cookie is hollow. Maybe not. But FE thinks more "cookie" and less "ball". We are all on the top of the cookie. We've never seen the bottom of the cookie. I think most flat earthers think that we are under a dome or firmament.

They have nothing in common. I admit I didn't do much research on the hollow earth theory, but I watched the beginning of a documentary and it was to much. Besides, the hollow earth theory uses a globe, I am pretty sure it's flat. Flat earth is believable because there's evidence and explanations for everything.

  1. Satellites are actually just radio signal bounce off the ionosphere. Something you learn in a basic HAM technician course. go watch videos by crow777 and look as he tracks "satellites". All of it has been debunked.
  2. The sun can be followed with a fast enough plane. That doesn't prove anything since it's just like an hour hand on the face of a clock.

On the FE model the sun moves in a circular motion over the circle of the earth. So you can follow it with a plane.

I flew from the US to Australia going east. It took about a day and a half.

On the return trip I again went east and it took about 14 hours.

We both know I wasn't the pilot. No need to be silly. This was about 10 years ago so no I cannot look up the flight log.

That being said, what is your explanation for my experience?

I went from the US east coast to London. Then to Germany. Then to Singapore. Then to Sydney.

On my return trip I went from Sydney to LAX.

If the Earth was flat how could the return trip possibly be 1/3 of the departure trip?

I wasn't trying to be a dick about it, some of us here are pilots. I've heard that the flight directions taken from Australia all reinforce the FE because if things were round, why not just go direct straight line, but instead the flight paths always go North first.

International flight paths are a big point of interest for us flat earthers. Ultimately it doesn't prove the shape of the earth (the utter lack of actual physical curvature over water is what proves it) , but it's a very interesting piece of the puzzle.

We can only sense changes in velocity (acceleration or negative acceleration {deceleration} based on vestibulo-related reflexes. We generally do not experience galactic level changes because they are relatively constant for us.

So whilst coming to this information-less Reddit post, and being somewhat annoyed that no Questions have been answered by the OP. I thought I would at least show that you sir, have incredibly ill-judged logic.

Logic alone is not great. Most logical arguments can be and are fallacies, however you simply fail to determine the logica of fairly simplistic biology.

I for one find it hard to believe that millions of scientists from all over the globe have been colluding against the public for thousands of years to convince them the Earth is round. It is preposterous.

A lot of things are theories. Just because it is not a law does not mean that it isn't true. Evolution is a theory as well, but I have a feeling you don't believe in that either.

Occams Razor is most definitely not preposterous, but imo and the opinion of billions of people the Earth being round is the logical conclusion to make with regards to Occams Razor.

That live stream is on Repeat, I haven't checked it in a while but I remember for a whole week I had it on and it would repeat parts at certain times. Not sure if they came out with new FAKE videos.

I don't believe you saw the iss unless you record you zooming in and out on it. Even if you did see the iss, it is believed the ISS is just a high altitude plane that looks like the ISS from the bottom. A example would be the Lockheed u2.

Most scientists don't know that this is a lie. Physics as we know it is fake and manipulated. I do believe the moon is flat, but I'm not sure about planets like Saturn. Gravity doesn't exist, so earth wouldn't turn into a sphere. Things fall cause of density.

1: We don't know, the only thing we know about how far earth goes is that we did dig 8 miles. That's it.

6: Like I mentioned in 2 we don't know much about the thickness of earth or where it ends. All we know is its at least 8 miles deep.

7: While few may believe the sky is fake, stars just revolve around us. I do believe they are modifying the sky with holograms (that's a whole other topic) but I don't think stars, the sun, and moon are fake, as they have been documented.

8: Not sure about Einstein, don't know much about Hubble, but Stephen hawking is likely to be in on it. They're either confused or paid to purpotrate this lie. Most scientists don't know their "knowledge" is fake. They get all their info from nasa, which is terrible.

I believe that our bodies are just avatars to the soul and this life is a game/test to see who advances to the next level and who stays behind to live again (try again in this hell).

My uncle used to work for NASA, and a long time ago he asked me why rainbows are curved and I said it's because the sunlight passes through the raindrops to give them that shape. He just smiled and chuckled. I think he knew that it was actually because of the reflection off of the dome...

is it possible that the earth is neither flat nor round but that flat earth and round earth are two ways of describing and analysing a 4-plus dimensional object? to me what's most interesting is-- what kind of information do we get from flat earth and round earth theories that is useful to our understanding of phenomena? i think both models have insights to contribute and maybe are more reconcilable than appears at first glance.
