She just grew up in South America and began investigating why women in America felt like they were being oppressed and starting questioning feminist bullshit. A lot of her book is pretty exaggerated in the sense that she was trying to drive a point (she has a more toned down one which I can't recall the name of) but she nails every woman's manipulation tactic. I think she really put herself in a man's shoes - way past concern trolling or empathy (similar to the Red Pill movie or the journalist who went undercover as a man for a year to see how the difference in how men were treated).
