Conceded Goals Discussion (self.reddevils)

This season, we have conceded goals on multiple occasions due to basic defensive errors. I feel that along with low conversion of chances, conceding easy goals to opposition has also led to us dropping too many points, but this seems not be discussed. Apart from waiting for Smalling and Bailly to return, what else can be done to plug these defensive holes in our play?

We conceded goals when Bailly and Smalling was playing the main issue is the concentration and positioning when it comes to defending crosses

People seem to switch off and not pick up the spare man or people running in for a cut back

What about our overall defending of set-pieces? I think crosses and set-pieces have been our undoing for the last few seasons, and it hasn't changed this season so far.

Yeah I agree any defending set piece we do have to deal with usually results in a problem for us, I think us not getting a seasoned commanding centre back or any other senior defenders exposes just how passive we comes to attacking the ball
