If I told you I play two scratch-offs every week in the hopes of winning 10k you'd think me retarded. Now obviously two dollars for me is nothing. A few sodie pops, even two dollars "saved" for the year is 96 dollars. Not even enough to really invest in, nor enough to get me a new laptop or something relevant. The glimmer of hope a scratch-off brings me is worth it really.

Now if I told you I waste an average of two dollars a week on women doing small favors for them. When they don't have enough change for something, when they mooch a cigarette off me, etc. You'd think this perfectly natural and consistent that these small favors while might not necessarily get me laid or a relationship, give me a glimmer of hope that they will... when they won't. And unlike the lottery, even the payout is not guaranteed as we could breakup, she could cheat on me, she could be a bigger cunt than I initially realize, and it'll cost way more than two dollars a week once it's a commitment.
