How is Don't Wanna Know top 10? That song is weak sauce, even for Maroon 5.

I kind of expected Broccoli to decline eventually, but this seems a bit soon. Still, it had a good run.

Juju on that beat better not be climbing. I think it's going to start declining next week.

Side To Side is slowing down, but the momentum it had is still going to carry it forward for a bit, like a dick bicycle heading to an uphill slope.

24K Magic is doing as well as I thought it would. It's a good song, but its not quite enough to destroy the world like Uptown Funk did.

Let Me Love You is still cruising. It's another solid song that isn't quite as good as some of the artists previous stuff.

Starboy should have been the song to dethrone Closer, but soccer moms can't handle that chorus. They can't handle the iconic line "I'm a motherfucking starboy".

Closer is finally kill. Yay.

Black Beatles proves memes can be used to get good songs to no. 1. The lyrics are meh, but it sounds incredible.

That's more of a sign that it's been a good year for the genre imo. Not to mention new albums by ATCQ, Drake, A$AP Mob, Kendrick, Future, the Weeknd, and many, many more I'm forgetting. As /u/Illuminastrid noted, many other songs have cracked the Top 20, which is difficult for a rap song to do without some borderline castrato singing a hook.
